Elks Lodge #2504 , Oceano, California

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great camp hosts, very friendly lodge, utilities worked well, but the condition of the rest area is a very poor representation of this lodge. Mostly sand that was impossible to keep out of RV. Uneven dirt and grass/weeds. Twisted ankle in gopher hole, one of hundreds of holes and mounds. Spacing is too close, we like to put out our awning. We camped at Elks Lodge #2504 in a Fifth Wheel.

Yanks RV Resort, Greenfield, California

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is beautiful. Everything is new and clean. Bathrooms and showers were very nice. Pool and spa area are very nice. Trees are young so no shade yet. Fireplace area welcoming. Site had two sewer connections which made it helpful. Club house and kitchen would be great for groups. We lucked out with the wind, almost none. When the air museum is built it will be a nice addition. We will stay again. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We have a 38ft 5th wheel, this park is not suited for big rigs. The roads are too narrow and very few sites for us to fit into. After attempting another site we had to settle for a site without any shade in 100 degree weather. In general this campground is in poor shape. Did use laundry but they are outside building in the heat. Big rigs keep going. Site are very narrow we stepped off our steps onto a slope, had to be very careful. We camped at Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Jackson Rancheria RV Park, Jackson, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park in the past. There are a lot of families that use this park. A lot for everyone to do. The landscaping is very well done. Laundry is free. The shuttle comes by every 15 minutes which is very handy. The park is beautiful, it will be nice when the trees mature and provide some shade. A very well laid out park. No problem for big rigs at this park. We will return. The stars at night were awesome. We camped at Jackson Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mother Lode Fairgrounds, Sonora, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

These fairgrounds are a very well kept secret. The sites are on grass and fairly level, not much to get it level. Beautiful mature shade trees, it was a park setting. Except for a couple other RV's we had the place to ourselves. There are brand new restrooms and showers that are very nice. Very big rig friendly and it sure beats the other RV parks in the area for price and space for big rigs. We will return next time we are visiting the gold country. We camped at Mother Lode Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We had a river front site, the view and sound of the river was very relaxing. Fire rings for campfire was nice. People were rafting down the river, fun to watch. We had site number 51 that had a tree that dropped very sticky balls that were quite a problem. Office staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much we made reservations for next summer. Swimming hole was nice for kids. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Desk staff was very nice. The grounds are beautiful. They have a nice bar-bq area. They show a free movie every night. Quiet and well maintained. Not that easy to find from I-5 but worth the effort. We visited friends in Dallas so was close. This park between Salem and Dallas. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice desk staff, we picked site next to pond (lake) we were escorted to our site but he made a hand gesture so we thought he wanted us to go straight, he made a rude comment about us not following him, made us feel bad. When we arrived at our site we noticed the grass area was full of duck and dog waste. We looked around and the sites around us were the same. Called desk. He said it was duck droppings and couldn't control them, but it was not dog waste. In the time it took us to set up, we saw 3 different full timers bring their dogs to do their business on the grass at the sites around the pond. There was so much our electrical cord had to lay in duck/dog waste. I-5 truck noise very bad at our site. Might have been better at sites around the office. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park. Staff very helpful and friendly. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of time and hard work in maintaining this rv park. Someone is always working on landscaping.Nice big sites. The park has great views. This park is halfway between Kartchner Caverns and Tombstone. We visited both so worked out well. We would stay here again. Price reflects Passport America. Lake Cahuilla, La Quinta, California

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time camping here. Staff very helpful. Sites are dirt, mostly level. Big rig friendly. Both our stays we found this park to be a quiet well run park. Was a drive to World War II musuem and Palm Springs tram but worth it. We camped at Lake Cahuilla in a Fifth Wheel.
