Up the Creek RV Camp, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We just returned from a week long stay in the Gatlinburg area. We would HIGHLY recommend this park. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic. Even though it's address is Sevierville, it really is closer to Pigeon Forge. It is out of town just enough to be really quiet and peaceful. The grounds were kept very nice and clean. It sits between 2 creeks that run constantly. The only down fall for some would be that it doesn't have restrooms and showers. For us that was not a problem as we are self contained. It doesn't have anything to offer such as a pool, arcades, etc., but it does offer peace and tranquility which we LOVE! Even though there wasn't a pool, our 10 yr old son had a blast wading in the creek, skipping rocks and rearranging the little water fall piles! I highly recommend this campground and have marked it as a future place to stay! We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Logan / Hocking Hills KOA , Logan, Ohio

Other than the site pads needing a little extra blocking to get the trailer level this campground is very, very nice! The owners take great pride in their place. Beautifully maintained, wonderful staff and just an overall great place to camp! We stayed on one of their deluxe sites and was well worth the price. We camped at Logan / Hocking Hills KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Long's Retreat Family Resort, Latham, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is in the middle of no where but is worth the trip! We camped with family and had a great time! This campground has two water slides, a swimming beach, 2 go-carts (adults and kids), a rock climbing wall, a carousel and more. This is a well maintained campground, clean and well run. My suggestion though is to go during the week if you can because it is very popular and gets very crowded. We stayed from Sunday afternoon until Thursday which was very nice. I highly recommend this campground! We camped at Long's Retreat Family Resort in a Travel Trailer.
