Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We didn't camp here, but just went for a day to check out this campground. Am I glad we didn't make reservation. First, we stopped by the ranger station to get some more information on the campground, there was someone inside, who saw us, but chose to ignore us. I would say about 80% of the campground are seasonal sites. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Kettle Morraine State Park- Mauthe Lake, Campbellsport, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We have been to Mauthe Lake several times. Wonderful state park. Staff is helpful and friendly. Facilities are clean with plenty of hot water. Lake is fun and clean. It is a very nice campground with nice playground, beach., fishing pier, little store, beautiful trail around the lake. Milwaukee river flows through Mauthe Lake. Our kids, 6,4, and 1 love this place. The campground is nice, clean and very quiet. The campsite itself is very wooded and secluded. Would come back in a second! We camped at Kettle Morraine State Park- Mauthe Lake in a Tent Trailer.

Hartman Creek State Park, Waupaca, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

It is a very nice campground with nice playground, beach., fishing pier, couple little stores, where you can rent a canoe/boat, lot of hike/ bike trails. We had very nice wooded secluded site, but it seems like lots of them were wooded, but not secluded. There is Ice Age Trail going through that state park. This state park has couple lakes. We will be back. We camped at Hartman Creek State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp Resorts, Bagley, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, clean campground. As someone mentioned before, the down side is the closeness to railtracks. It is kind of annoying that trains run every 30 minutes or so, even during the night. We also didn't like that you have to pay for everything, even to use the jumping pillow, which appears to be part of the payground area. All in all, it is a very nice campground located in the beautiful area. We definitely would come back again. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp Resorts in a Tent Trailer.

High Cliff State Park, Sherwood, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

It is a very nice campground, located right on Lake Winnebago. High Cliff got its name from the limestone cliff. There is a small beach, nice campground, store with the little museum, endless hiking opportunities, tower you can climb on for beautiful view . In addition to Lake Winnebago, there is a small Butterfly Pond, with fishing pier. We will definitely come back. We camped at High Cliff State Park in a Tent Trailer.
