Small campground, some sites can see the ocean but it is at a distance. Pull thru are limited, clean campground. Great for overnight, tenting they have shelters for tent people. Very laid back owners and very friendly. We would come back again. we stayed here for the night to get on the ferry to St Johns. We camped at Digby Campground in a Motorhome.

Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights as a stop-over. Had a new drive thru site with patio/firepit and wicker patio furniture provided. Up on a hill overlooking rest of park & was great. This is part of continued renovation by owner per the staff. Staff very friendly & helpful kudos to the rec director. Lots of families/kids;a little off the beaten path but a beautiful area. The roads within the park need a little better engineering directional sense. The other park sites are mostly grass but believe upgrades are forthcoming. Store is nice; did not use pool. Would stay again. We camped at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA in a Motorhome.

Wilderness Lake Campground & Resort, Willington, Connecticut

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We did not actually stay at this park; had reservation & did not accept site after arrival. Reserved this in April & owner was not truthful as to what was available for sites. OBTW,It is cash only,no CC(we were aware of that) Sent in $100 deposit by check. On arrival a young man(teenager) checked us in and thought we had a pop up which we clearly indicated on reservation a 31 ft Class C/towing. Took us to a site that was uphill/grass/rocky and no sewer & were told to empty our grey tank on the ground.....& they would pump out the black.(environmentalists have at it:) We said this would not work for us & got our check back & asked about deposit and were given $50 back (which was OK w/us) FYI:The rates were $50 & told $25 passport rate but July 4th would be $110. Why bother w/passport?? Liars can figure and figures can lie. I will say the lake looked nice but the rest definitely poor. Would not recommend. We camped at Wilderness Lake Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Lots to sightsee/shop/restaurants. Wonderful maritime and war history. We stayed in a Class C MH We camped at Delaware Seashore State Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are paved. Garbage has to be taken to one dumpster. Firewood is available for camp fires. Very shaded. They patrol often to make sure all is well. Paved roads. A bit in the middle of nowhere. A lot of families show up on the weekend. We camped at Tuckahoe State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice people, camped on Gulf. We drove our car to the other areas we wanted to visit, (lighthouses). Biggest problem at dusk were yellow flies. Bring your bug repelliant, these flies can hurt. We camped at Ho-Hum RV Park in a Motorhome.
