Greenfield State Park, Greenfield, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This park used to be a gem, but it is pretty run down now. The beach was dirty, the play yard is over run with grass and falling down. When we arrived our site was littered with trash and the fire ring was full of burned beer cans. Will not be returning. We left a day early. We camped at Greenfield State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hadley's Point Campground, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park was clean, near Acadia and quiet. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The sites were a bit close, but had enough room to open bump-outs easily. We stayed on pull through site #55. We camped at Hadley's Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I loved staying here, my only complaint is that it doesn't have individual campfire rings. It does however have a group campfire it someone wants to get it started. Clean, quiet; can't wait to go back. We camped at Ellacoya State Beach & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Glen Ellis Family Campground, Glen, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park was large, and many types of sites are available. Overall our stay was good, with the exception of Saturday night when a group of three dirt bikes were assigned to the site next to ours. They roared in at 10 pm when quiet hour started, and proceeded to start a smoldering fire, flash lanterns to set up their tents, and then at 1:30 am decided to cook a meal. It was a very disappointing stay at the very least. They should have put these people in a field site as they were loud all night. We camped at Glen Ellis Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park was beautifully maintained, the owner was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed watching the ferry and the 4th of July fireworks from the lakefront. Will return as soon as we are able. We camped at Champlain Adult Campground in a Travel Trailer.
