North Texas Jellystone (formerly Rustic Creek Ranch), Burleson, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The park is clean and well maintained. Most sites do not have satellite reception due to trees. We camped at North Texas Jellystone (formerly Rustic Creek Ranch) in a Motorhome.

Fort Smith / Alma RV Park, Alma, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The speed bumps are a bit of a nuisance. They have a nice pool. We stayed toward the rear of the park in a 30-amp site w/ water and sewer. Not all sites provide a window through the trees for DirecTV but E-5 (our site) did. We camped at Fort Smith / Alma RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are 3 grocery outlets (WalMart, CV's, Harp's) all of which offer a reasonable selection (no Whole Foods type stores anywhere around). There are several fast food outlets, a Cracker Barrel, Merle's Steak House among others at the intersection of I-40 and US-71.

Park Ridge RV Campground, Van Buren, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The setting is beautiful (trees and creek). The park is clean and relatively-well maintained. The WiFi is pretty good. Satellite reception is, for the most part, non-existent due to the tree density. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Park Ridge RV Campground, Van Buren, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a bit older but has been reasonably well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The park is close to shopping and dining. The camp roads are easy to navigate. Due to the canopy of trees, satellite TV is problematic (you may only be able to receive partial or no signal). Water pressure is fairly low - you may need your RV water pump to augment the water flow. Overall, the park is a great place to stay (we were there for 3 weeks visiting relatives). We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Golden Shore RV Resort, Long Beach, California

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is an good park with only a couple of detractors. The rules regarding dogs are not enforced. My site, although deep enough to park my 36' 5th wheel, was not of sufficient size to park my GMC 3500 completely within its bounds. Bottom line -- I would recommend this park. We camped at Golden Shore RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The owners, JoAnn & Harvey Mickelson, were both very nice and attentive to our needs. The park is clean and entry/exit friendly. The only issue (minor) was street noise; we were in the site closest to AZ-89. I would highly recommend this park. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We found both the staff and the campground to be user friendly. We were slotted in a hillside site with a nice view overlooking the valley. I would recommend this park. We camped at Escondido RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
