Oasis State Park, Portales, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

I put $20 in the envelope because it was worth it. The next morning the park manager came and gave me $6 back. I told him it was worth the $20 I put in the envelope and told him to keep the money and put it in the park fund. He refused. I told him I will be back around the 2nd of Dec. If you are in this area, check it out. We camped at Oasis State Park in a Motorhome.

Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We are back again. When we first came to this park 4 years ago we fell in love with it and the people here. We have returned every year since then and stayed 3 month each time. In Dec of 2012, I had no idea that before we would leave we would end up signing a long term lease and buying a park model trailer, but we did. Now we plan on spending 6 to 7 months out of the year here. You just can't find a better place to stay, short or long term, this is the best. Great family owners, great permanent residents, and the best view around. We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Motorhome.

Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

We were here last year and we liked it enough that we came back and plan to stay 3 months this time. I would give this place a 10 except I have to deduct some for the 7 miles of gravel road. It was good to see that 6 of the front row facing the mountains were the same ones in them last year. This is not an over night stop. If you want a quiet peaceful place with great people to be around this is the place. If you want highway traffic and trains all night this isn't the place for you. We'll be back for 3 to 4 months next year. We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Motorhome.

Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This park is about 12 miles from Deming,NM. It is in between some mountains and is considered the High Desert. The owners are very nice, and the people here are very friendly. There is always some kind of activity going on at the club house and even if you are new to the park, you are always invited to join in. The park is located at the end of a 7 mile gravel road. But you will be glad you traveled that 7 miles. The park, the owners, the other campers, and the scenery are well worth it. The amount I listed was for a monthly rate. We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Motorhome.

City of Canton - Mississippi River Park, Canton, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

From US 61 just follow the signs to the Canton Ferry. When you cross the RR the Ferry is to your right, the CG is to your left. Sites 1 through 9 are W/E only, the rest are W/E/S. All back-ins on concrete. Good view to your left of Lock 20 you can sit and watch barges pass through the locks. Look to your right and you can watch the Canton Ferry cross to Meyer IL. When you are parked you are 50' from the Mississippi River. We really like it here. Contact the Canton Police Dept for more information. We camped at City of Canton - Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Dirt parking. Not many sites where you can get a roof mounted sat shot out of. But the moss on the trees is just beautiful. If you just want to be lazy and relax, this is the place. Will go back We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Even with no hook-ups we enjoyed this park very much. From the plans I saw on future work, they do plan to add electricity sometime. They are still in process of rebuilding the motel and restaurant. The visitor center and marina are open. Will go back. We camped at Flamingo Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Gator Park, Inc, Miami, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Park has lots of full time residents. We stayd here because of the Air boat ride. Nothing to do at the park, but if you just want a place to park, its OK. Grass parking and not too level. Hwy 41 which runs in front of the CG is very dangerous. We were in the CG for a week and their was 3 very bad wrecks within 2 miles of the entrance to the park. We camped at Gator Park, Inc in a Motorhome.
