Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA, Cornwall, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here while attending the Shania Twain concert in Charlottetown. Although our stay was brief, we were rather impressed with the facility. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Store was well stocked. Areas that we saw were clean and up to date. We had a site facing the North River and although it is a river, it is tidal water with a nice beach. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Wassamki Springs, Scarborough, Maine

Overall Rating:

First time visitors to this park. Spacious and clean. Sites available among extremely large pines. We had a very large open site. Staff were very helpful. Other campers were friendly. Great location, only 3-4 miles from Maine Mall & most important Cracker Barrel. We will certainly be back. We camped at Wassamki Springs in a Fifth Wheel.

Hartt Island RV Resort, Fredericton, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this campground last week while a relative was in hospital. Second time for the same reason. Expansion is ongoing and landscaping is almost done. Anyone can find fault with anything if they try hard but in the grand scheme of things, this is a great campground and what campground doesn't have a lot of seasonals? We have paid a lot more for a lot less at other places. Staff are excellent. We plan a return trip next season just to relax. We camped at Hartt Island RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pleasant Hill Campground, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We just returned home after a 3 day stay. Owners/staff were very helpful. Overall the park was clean. The only area that could use an upgrade is the office/store which is somewhat outdated. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Pleasant Hill Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hartt Island RV Resort, Fredericton, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We found the sites level and spacious. Roads are in need of some repair however construction is on-going. Lots of activities for the kids and mini-golf for adults. Best thing for us was the staff. Very accommodating. We stayed because we had family in hospital and weren't able to give a lot of notice. Will stay again for sure. We camped at Hartt Island RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Island View Camping, Bayside, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We rarely camp this close to home (15 miles) however we are certainly glad we did. Previous posts showed waterfront as being river, however this campground is on part of the Bay of Fundy with 26 foot tides. Site was level and although not spacious, it was more than adequate. Busy holiday weekend. The takeout at the office is a must visit. Excellent haddock & clams. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We camped at Island View Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This campground provided an excellent view, staff was friendly, site was level and the park as a whole is very pet friendly. Great location. The reason for a lower rating is due to a lack of communication. We had a confirmed reservation for a: "Your Campsite Back-in, Water/Electric, 30 amp, Cable, Wi-Fi. Beautiful campsites with water/electric service, cable TV & Wi-Fi at no charge." However on arrival we were told they do not have cable TV. Staff, although friendly, wouldn't even look at our confirmation email. Said the web site is confusing. Included our concerns in a "rate your stay" email as well as an email to KOA to remove cable TV from their reservations. Still not done a month later and no contact from them either. Great campground, however no follow-up on concerns. We camped at Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Bouctouche Baie Chalets et Camping, Saint-Édouard-de-Kent, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We used this campground as a base for a visit with friends a short drive away, so we didn't spend a lot of time during the day at the CG. However we found the staff to be very friendly & knowledgeable. Sites are grass/sand with lots of room. Bouctouche Dunes is directly across the road and is a must see. Walk the boardwalk on this environmentally protected area with a view across the bay to PEI which you can easily see on a clear day. Overall the CG was very clean and we would definitely stay again We camped at Bouctouche Baie Chalets et Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Bay Campground, Oak Bay, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground opened for the season on July 29th under new operators. Upgrades have been done to the washrooms and other improvements are ongoing. Operators are local family who live nearby. With the new highway bypassing the area, road noise will be a non-issue. We camped at Oak Bay Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped here for a week (June 27-July 4) and really enjoyed ourselves. We were in the "B" loop on site #34. Very large sites, grassy, roads were both gravel and paved. Excellent Wi-Fi reception and we had cable TV. Restrooms & showers were somewhat outdated but very clean. Close to all activities and attractions in Cavendish. We would definitely camp here again. Very helpful staff. We camped at Cavendish Sunset Campground in a Motorhome.

The only negative item for this cg is the lack of cable tv. Not a huge issue but would be nice. Very clean throughout, well maintained and staff are friendly. We have stayed there on 3 occasions in 2008. Close to shopping and attractions. We will certainly be back. We camped at Camper's City in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Haven Campground, Freeport, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this cg numerous times. If you like a big splashy facility, this is not your stop. However if you enjoy a friendly, family type atmosphere, drop anchor. This place has everything we need for a comfortable weekend or longer. Closest park to downtown Freeport shopping and easy to get to off I295 at exit 22. We will be back. We camped at Cedar Haven Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Saco River Camping Area, North Conway, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Possibly one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. Staff were friendly. Great location. We had a riverside site which was very spacious. Overall very clean. The only negative comment I could make is that the office is upstairs which would be difficult if not impossible for some. However based on our interaction with staff, they would certainly do whatever they could. They also charge for pets. Will definitely be back. We camped at Saco River Camping Area in a Fifth Wheel.
