Levi Jackson State Park, London, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a family friendly park. There are a lot for the kids to do. We made our reservations on the internet and it did not explain that different sites were available. We choose site H5 which was at the bottom of a hill. We had a major rain storm and we had a river running under our 5th wheel. We had nothing but mud around our RV. We are retired and were looking for a quiet site with grass and shade. We had shade but no grass and lots of kids. We camped at Levi Jackson State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Spring Lake RV Resort, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far the best park we have ever stayed in. We were here in June while visiting friends and decided to come back and enjoy the beautiful park. Each campsite has a patio with a picnic table. (Some have rockers and iron tables and chairs.) The park is in a circle around a small lake with a waterfalls in the center. All the roads a gravel and level as are the sites. As you walk around the park, the owners have put additional areas for sitting by the lake in great little settings. Some include a water feature. The place is picture perfect. The staff is very friendly as are the guests. We just love this park and will be back again in the future. We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Up the Creek RV Camp, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here while visiting the Smokie Mountains and the Pigeon Forge area. This is a great, well kept park. We spent a week there and enjoyed sitting outside in our site. There was a patio on each site with a picnic table. We were in site 18 which was shaded and quiet. We had a Cardinal that seems to like our RV as it spent a lot of time pecking on our windows, but that was the only thing I could say that was not a compliment to the park and the friendly hosts. The park was close to the attractions with easy access to the Smokies. We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

What a great park. We had some issues with the electrical box in site 31 so we were able to move to site 1 which was perfect. The site had a lot of shade although we could not see the lake but we enjoyed our privacy. The site were quite big. This is a beautiful park and we will be back. We camped at Piney Point COE in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV sites were shaded and lots of room for RV and between the RV's. There was a cement pad with picnic table and a grass area. It was easy to locate. A very nice RV park and would come back again. We paid Good Sam prices. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
