We drove here after a sad dealing at a Bozeman park. Stayed here for 4 days. Very busy park but the staff were a lot nicer and very understanding. We went fishing locally and my son caught his yearly catch which helped in ease a stressful situation from missing his friend at a previous park. (Friendship is a problem with austism). Park is clean, tight, and close to a park which made our daily visits nice.

My yearly vacation with our autistic son has always had it's moments. This is our first stay at this park and the staff was extremely friendly. Park is clean and family friendly. The area is small but close to Yellowstone. Made it nice as we saw a couple of bears which was exciting. Also has elk and deer right in the community was a nice plus.

As per the request of our autistic son we returned to this KOA. In 2008 our 7 year son befriended a KOA worker who helped him by directing him to a fishing hole to catch his first fish. We arrived with a slim hope of seeing this gentleman again. Day one and nothing. On day 2, amid excitement he found his friend cutting grass just like last year. After a long talk, some tips we headed out with some new fishing gear and in a new direction. The next 3 day my son caught his limit. He wanted to thank his friend so we delivered some fresh fish filet. They talked, huged and shed tears as they parted. Thank you KOA and Mr Work Kamper. This made a very young boy very happy. PS and the park looks beautiful as it did last year. Already have rumbles of 2010.
