Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur, Larkspur, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Formally Castle Rock RV Park Dusty dirt roads. Pull thus are a mess with hookups and grass on drivers side and your door exits into dirt and dust. Front and back parking and hence the back trailer or 5ers may have problems unhooking. 1 hr 30 minutes free Wi-Fi and then you pay so it's not really free. No cable and limited over the air TV channels. A number of TV stations were not usable on our bat wing probably due to the distance with the new digital TV. Most of the area is not maintained including weeds. Picnic tables and pedestals are marginal. Located adjacent to a railroad with loud all night trains and black smoke entering your site. $39 for 30A pull through. Worth no more than $15/night. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur in a Motorhome.

Royal View Camp Resort, Canon City, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $32.00

Overall nice CG. The owner is a little short on his responses. WiFi is not usable in all of the sites in spite of what the owner thinks. The data rate is very slow and very limited. Also my website program indicated that all 500 files needed to be updated from the laptop after I had updated 5 files. Something is not working correct from this CG connection. Also there was no Verizon access along this area of route 50 (major truck route) or in the CG. So forget about aircard access. We camped at Royal View Camp Resort in a Motorhome.
