Park is mainly for diving. They have a different sections for tents and RV's. The sites are not real level, but not bad. Roads are dirt. Lots of grass. A few picnic tables, lots of shade. No fire rings (bring or make your own). No playground. Very quiet. You will be asked to sign a waver, whether or not you are diving. Camp ground looks very under used. Our group of 5 had the place to ourselves.

Park now has paved roads, new bath house, all hookups have been redone. To date, the Reserve America site has not been updated. All sites now have 30/50 amp, and sewer hookups. Some site numbers have changed location due to a new entrance road. Sites 2,3, & 27 are ADA/Paved sites. The new bath house is now behind site #27. The big draw back is the sewer outlets are placed high above grade. We had site #25, and it was un level. We required two boards on the door side to level the trailer, and the sewer outlet was still uphill from the dump valve. Our trailer sets two steps high to the door, so many RV's may have this problem. Also be aware that the sewer outlets are placed to the front of the site, so once you are backed in, you will most likely need extra sewer hose to reach the outlet. We had to move to a different site in order to dump our tanks. We will return, but now we know the sites to avoid.

Dirt sites, good shade. No playground. Close to Old St. Augustine. Friendly staff. Some site are much better than others. Some had hook ups in odd places. Much better than the KOA for the price.

We first stayed at this park two years ago (the first review). Its still a nice park. As stated by the previous reviewer, they have added 50amp and cable TV. There are a few lake view sites being built (almost ready) that will have sewer hookups, but they have no shade at all. The bathhouses were about to be painted, but they still looked like they were in the same bad shape as last time. This place would be so much better if they would build a new bath house. The staff was nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

We spent a week here in the early spring. Nice campground. Water hookups are between every other site, so depending on the site you have, the water hookup might be on the curb side, not the road side where your unit hookups are. Ours was on the road side, but we still needed two hoses to reach it. Web site says Wi-Fi, but not in the campground, only the Lodge. We had a severe storm come thru mid week. The rangers came thru and had everyone go to the lodge until the storm passed, making sure everyone was safe. The play ground was in good shape, fairly new equipment. Bathhouse was old, but in good repair and clean. The dump station water supply was frozen the morning we went to leave. Late cold snap.

Good overnight stop. Park needs a little TLC up keep, but not too bad. Road to campground is being rebuilt for the next year. The Campground is hard to find in the construction zone.

Park is very underused. Some 30amp hookups not working, but 50amp were OK. Nice shade. No fie rings or grills. Some sites have concrete picnic tables, some have wooden tables. Parks does not take reservations, but almost never fills up. Very good value. The parks has lots to do. Albany also has some things to see. Will camp here again.

Nice pool and playground. Sites are close together with the front section (1-57) of the campground having little to no shade. The rear section (58-105) has shade, but small sites. Roads are sand/dirt. Sites have some grass. The campstore is well stocked. Firewood is available to be delivered to your site. This would be a really nice park if they could find a way to link it to the Rainbow Springs Park without having to drive seven miles around the spring/river. Roads are in poor shape. They need to be regraded or paved.

Paved sites and roads. Most sites are back-in, a few are pull-thru. Picnic tables and grills. Many sites drop off the edge of the pad. A fare amount of space between sites. Space for awnings and slidouts if trees are not in the way. The bathrooms are in very poor condition. Shower curtains torn or missing in womans side, mens side is a gang shower. Floor tile missing or broken. Outlet and switch covers missing (exposed electrical wires). Swiming beach is nice. Beach is a far walk from the CG. Playground is at the beach and in good shape. Good TV reception; six stations. This would be a very nice CG if the bathhouse was replaced.
