Lazy Acres Campground, Fayetteville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Fayetteville NC-Lazy Acres Is located about a mile and a half off of 95 easy on off. It has a sand packed road going in. We stayed from 6/6/2015-6/12/2015. Very nice campground at 37.00 dollars a night, they do accept Good Sams. The sites are level of compacted sand, most of the sites have concrete pad with a picnic table and fire ring. They have cable, WiFi, pool, very nice bath hous, laundry room, and a catch and release pond. The owners live on site as do the managers. It is located near the airport so there is some plane noise. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in a 37 foot fifth wheel with no problems. We have stayed here 2 times now and love it. The campground is well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this campground to any age. It is next to Dutch Wonderland, so there is a mix of young and old here. We will be coming back. This has to be one of the best campgrounds my wife and I have stayed in. The sites were wide and level with lots of shade. The restrooms/ showers were clean and supplies kept up. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had our grandkids (2) so went to Dutch Wonderland which is a walk away. Campground is in the heart of Lancaster but you would never know it. We will be staying here again next year. We camped at Old Mill Stream Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites were level and big. The staff was young, but very helpful. The campground worked with a local tour company; they picked us up at camp store and dropped us off. If you needed to go anywhere the staff had printed directions for common areas. I would stay here again. Very nice campground and staff. We camped at Campark Resorts in a Fifth Wheel.

Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA, Jonestown, Pennsylvania

We stayed on the creek side. This is the second year we stayed here, we love this campground. They rent tubes for the creek and will haul you up stream to float down to campground. The water was low so we didn't do any tubing, but to sit by and watch the water flow is very relaxing. The bathhouse was very clean. The store seemed well stocked for anything you may need. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We will be back. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Heritage Cove Resort, Saxton, Pennsylvania

Awesome place! We will be back again. We had a great site, level and wide. The restrooms were very clean and nice. The owners couldn't be nicer. they have put a lot of time and money into this place. The young boys they have working here, were helpful and very courtious. Be aware there's NO cellphone, TV, and limited radio service. Didn't brother us, we loved it, but could see a lot of unhappy teens going through withdrawal from no texting. We camped at Heritage Cove Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+), Intercourse, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Our first visit here with a 27' trailer, stayed at site #9. We thought the atmosphere and owners were very pleasant. The bathrooms were very clean and had music streamed in; the showers were very clean as well. The even # sites have a fire ring that is big enough to cook on, the odd # sites have a smaller movable ring. The town of Intercourse is close enough to walk, or ride a bike to. There were horse and buggy's going up and down the road all the time. We will be going back next year. We camped at Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+) in a Travel Trailer.
