Red Barn RV Park, Tea, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Motor homes over 40' should not use this park, too many trees and narrow sites and roads!

Lots are very close and mostly shady. Sites are gravel and feature a picnic table. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Victoria Palms Resort, Donna, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second visit, however since they have been taken over by Encore we found it was not as well maintained. Garbage pick up was only twice a week, and the there were only two places to leave garbage. The site we were in were not level, one of our fellow travelers broke a spring on his jack.

The Park is lovely and located in a great place, hopefully in the near future they will make some improvements especially their Wifi. We will return at sometime as we like the area, but were disappointed this trip. We camped at Victoria Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Taos Monte Bello RV Park, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Not big rig friendly, sites are too narrow with overgrown bushes that hinder slides and getting around RV. We were here two years ago and it looks as if nothing has been touched since then. Good wifi and friendly front desk person. Definitely will not return! We camped at Taos Monte Bello RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground), Grand Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

The park is way too tight for motorhomes over 40'. The trees are such you cannot make turns without backing several times. The management was unfriendly, the person that checked us in could not tell me where the hookups were, told us to turn on the wrong street thus almost getting stuck between trees. Would not recommend for big rigs, definitely would not return. We camped at Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground) in a Motorhome.

The owners of this park are super. They squeezed us in over the July 4th weekend, as we had a medical issue. I can't say enough kind words. Park is well maintained with beautiful flowers all around and a relaxing stream. We camped at Bayfield Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins, Leadville, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you are over 40' would not stay in this park, concrete runners are hard to stay on and you have to watch that jacks are straight. Poor electricity, not very well kept. Would not return, left before our time was up. We camped at Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.
