Lazy Acres Campground, Fayetteville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Office staff was great and let us pick between 2 sites to accommodate our big rig. Site was shady with a lot of trees as in entire campground. Entrance wide, easy to get in and easy access off 1-95. will stay here again in our travels towards Florida. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown, Williamsport, Maryland

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed off season when pool slides were closed and still price was outrageous. Site is very very narrow and unable to have fire as other camper right there. The sites are in a big field with no trees or anything. The entrance was awful for a big rig with narrow drive, and low trees. Overpriced and will not stay here again. We usually would stay on our way to Florida from NY, but there is no value at this price for really nothing open on site. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Fifth Wheel.

Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Great office staff at check-in. Site was big and easily accommodated our rig and truck. Biggest reason for low score is very limited amenities and right next to airport. Big planes and a lot of noise associated with that. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a big park with level concrete pads. Picnic tables and benches are concrete also. The park sits directly under the path for the Jacksonville Airport, which we were not aware of. Easy off I-95. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Park is most expensive campground in area and we paid this because of "water slides" added in 2014. What a huge mistake! The outdoor pool and slides don't open until 10am and on Sundays not until 12noon, even though the weather in summer is 90 degrees at 7am! While the slide and outdoor pool is nice, by no way can it accommodate the crowds they are attracting with this amenity. Don't make the same mistake we did, the water park is not worth it if it is too crowded to use. The lounges in pool area are "reserved" with towels thrown on them, but never occupied. Families kept walking around looking for a place with little ones to sit, but by 10:05 all the lounges are gone, reserved with those towels on them. Bikes are thrown all over and blocking entrances. Staff are young and not very happy. Will not come back or recommend to anyone. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is not easy access off 1-95. It might be close, but the winding and confusing roads make it difficult. We picked an express site and the cost was fair. The train that goes by starting at 5 AM was ridiculous. The blowing of the whistle that early was not very good. With the poor location to 95 and the train noise we would not stay here again. We camped at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads in a Motorhome.

We had broken down with our truck and needed to stay here while repairs being done. The managers and office staff were amazing! Very nice campground, well maintained, and great pool. We checked out very late and staff was very accommodating to all our needs. Bathrooms were spotless, and entire campground very nice. We camped at Twelve Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Hills Campground, Marathon, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stopover for one night and could not ask for friendlier owners. They brought us to our site, made us pizza, and were wonderful. We had a flat tire so we checked in after 8 PM and they were amazing! A lot of seasonals but all sites well kept. The only reason they didn't get 10 was the roads need work leading up to campground. Very big pot holes, and being a big rig roads are very narrow. We camped at Country Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown, Williamsport, Maryland

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $28.00

Easy off and on from interstate. My biggest complaint is the driveway into the park and roads around the park. They are terrible. Pot holes can really damage a big rig. Check in staff where very nice. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

Ocala Sun RV Resort, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park is easy on/off I-75, but the smell of sewer ruined our stay. No matter where you are the park has several areas where sewer smell is very strong. Small pool available, but with no playground or things for the kids to do I would not stay here again. Even with a playground until sewer gets fixed not worth the money. The rate reflects approximate monthly rate. We camped at Ocala Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great campground with good size sites. The only down side is parking is limited on site, with one vehicle only allowed. However some sites had a motorcycle, golf cart and car. We camped at Briarcliffe RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 3 days while sight seeing. Check-in was great and the owner and staff were very friendly. Sites are big and gravel through out. Laundry and bathrooms are spotless. Store was great and staff very helpful about sights in surrounding area. Would recommend this KOA to everyone. Thanks for a great stay. The rate reflects a KOA discount. Park Ridge RV Campground, Van Buren, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park and was very disappointed for several reasons. The staff on check in were rude, the Men's room was filthy, several washing machines were broke, and the one that was operational was filthy. Dirty foul smelling standing water surrounded where we had to plug in electric. Many sites very small and close together, and difficult to get to. They offered free cable but we could not get it.. Bugs were terrible due to standing water everywhere. No park rules given at time of signing and traffic continued through 3 am with no quiet time. Did not feel safe in this park. Would never go here again or recommend. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
