Long Key State Park, Long Key, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Fine little park, right on the ocean. Great fishing and kayaking. Sites are narrow and our rig had to be positioned right up to the fence on the beach as the hookups are a distance away. Our 50' electric cord just made it. Camping on the sand can be messy,we forgot our outdoor rug, so lots of sweeping was in order. We would return for another visit. We camped at Long Key State Park in a Motorhome.

Curry Hammock State Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Great little park! We were camped on the water and enjoyed the view and kayaking. Close to Marathon so shopping was convenient. We travel in a motorhome and had a nice "L" shaped site, large and all pebbled, no sand. We camped at Curry Hammock State Park in a Motorhome.

Collier-Seminole State Park, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Mosquitoes, mosquitoes and more mosquitoes! We could hardly walk our dogs, even wrapped in two towels and sprayed with repellent. We live in Florida, however, we have never seen anything like this infestation. The park is ok, our site was fine. The rangers were very nice. We spent 3 days inside, wanted to kayak and fish, but, there was no way we could stay outside. We camped at Collier-Seminole State Park in a Motorhome.
