Cedar Hill State Park, Cedar Hill, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a really nice park; a quick get-away close to city life but yet it seems like a lifetime away from the hustle and bustle. Wi-fi is only available in the parking lot of the main entrance, but there are wonderful bike trails, a great swimming spot on the lake and a quaint little farm. We camped at Cedar Hill State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Mineral Wells State Park, Mineral Wells, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $18.00

I love this park; it's one of my favorite places to visit. While there, spend some time at the climbing wall, it's beautiful and if you go down into the pit (there are stairs) it is a cool respite from the heat. We camped at Lake Mineral Wells State Park in a Travel Trailer.

T Ricks RV Park, Hazen, Arkansas

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very convenient spot right next to I-40. We generally stop here just for a night while traveling but it is clean and the clerk at the station has always been courteous and helpful. We have stayed here two or three times and my only complaint is that there is road noise from the interstate which cannot be helped. I would not choose it as a "destination" but it's a nice rest stop! We camped at T Ricks RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
