Moss Landing KOA Express, Moss Landing, California

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

A rather nice, very small & cramped KOA. Well maintained, but one of the most important amenities is sorely lacking: the Wi-Fi ranges from abysmally slow to non-existent.

At its fastest, tells us that the download speed is 0.6 mb/second, and the upload speed is 0.1 mb/second. If you need Wi-Fi, this is NOT the place for you. It took about 24hours, but by the second day we were here, we were over-run with ants. Take appropriate measures to prevent this! We camped at Moss Landing KOA Express in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Moss Landing, CA is a delightful fishing community with a couple of very good restaurants. Well worth a visit. But RVers dependent on the Internet cannot depend on the Wi-Fi here to be adequate or even connectable.

Wine Country RV Park, Prosser, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The sites and hookups are poorly designed: power pedestals and water spigots are on the driver's side of the rig, but at the very FRONT of the RV site, not the back. And both the power pedestal and water spigot are so tall that slide-outs will not clear them. We had to re-park the rig three times to position it so that our power cord would reach AND our living room slide wouldn't hit the power pedestal. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pinto Lake Park, Watsonville, California

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

No swimming in lake. Do not eat fish caught in lake. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time, either inside RV or on leash outside RV. Extremely quiet, well-maintained park. We plan to return here soon for a quiet night or two away from home. We camped at Pinto Lake Park in a Motorhome.

Washington Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The review from September 2007 is WRONG. I've just confirmed the information on "www.OvernightRVParking" which states that RVs may stay here for one night. The sign described in the Sept 2007 review is here, but my email from the Mayor's Office confirms that this is merely to encourage RVers to patronize local RV parks. Overnighting at this park (Washington Park, on Coffeen Street) is allowed. NOTE: Had to enter $1 as the rate, because website won't allow a zero. We camped at Washington Park in a Motorhome.
