Arrowhead RV Park, Ile Des Chenes, Manitoba

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here every trip to Winnipeg, at least 3 weeks a year for the last 3 years. The owners are extremely friendly, and the washrooms/showers are probably the best and cleanest I have seen across North America! The park is crushed limestone with excellent drainage (we have been there for several prairie thunderstorms). The sites are not the widest (but more than adequate for slides), but the length is well above average. There is room for our camper (off truck), longbox quad cab, 24 foot car hauler, and room left over for table and chairs By far the best RV Park in the Winnipeg area! We camped at Arrowhead RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort), Winnipeg, Manitoba

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I was not impressed with this campground. The hook-up points are very poorly placed at the very back of the sites, with the power pedestal being shared by sites on both sides. I am glad I had a 30' cable, as I needed all of it. This also means the power will be on the wrong side for half the sites. The staff is not friendly, and the washrooms and showers were not working (except the one next to entrance). They have a lot of rules, but seem to pick and choose who they apply to. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Truck Camper.

Winnipeg West KOA , St. Fran├žois Xavier, Manitoba

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location beside Assiniboine River. Pull-through sites are very spacious. Lots of grass and trees. Hook-ups are well placed. Staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed for a week. The mosquitos were a little thick, but it is along a river in Manitoba, and they were doing some fogging. The noise from the Trans-Canada Highway may disturb some. We camped at Winnipeg West KOA in a Truck Camper.
