Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is well worth the money. The camp sites are large, spacious, and beautifully kept. The amenities are numerous and the staff is quite helpful. They provide garbage pickup at your site each morning. This was our second time here and we would definitely stay again. We camped at Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Waldport / Newport KOA, Waldport, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $40.00

I should have known not to book a reservation here when their main website didn't show pictures of the actual sites. It's in a nice area, but the campsites are quite small. Might return if we had to spend one night, but definitely no more than that. We camped at Waldport / Newport KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Really enjoyed this campground. The sites are quite large. It's quiet and peaceful and the area is beautiful. It's just a short walk to the ocean. We will definitely be back. We camped at Turtle Rock RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna, California

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure why this park gets such high ratings from the major publications. The spaces are really small. Personally, I don't like parking right on top of my neighbor. It's loud because it's right off the freeway. Also, because of the high published ratings, we booked four nights, but because of the space size, decided we wanted to leave a day early. They refused to refund one night. We won't be back. We camped at Riverwalk RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
