I have nothing but good to say about this park. We have camped in many parks around the area and this one is the best. The sites are nice and shady. they have the potential to be a little tight, but when we were there, they made a point of not putting folks on top of each other, and it seemed as if they left some spots vacant just to give everyone more room. The pools and playground were great. The owners were wonderful. We had a camper malfunction that required us to leave our camper on the spot for several days in order to get it repaired. The owners were gracious and worked with us and let us leave it there without charge until the repairs were done. We will definitely return. This campground had everything we needed and is close to Cedar Point, and the Lake Erie Shore activities. We camped at Camp Sandusky in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is fairly nice. It is huge and I cant imagine what it would be like if it were full. We had a front row bridge view site. These sites are VERY tight. We could not put our awning out and neither could our friends who camped next to us. We ended up putting both vehicles on one site and both tables and our fire pan on the other site. The fire pan is about the size of a dinner plate and could hold maybe 2 logs. This is fine because if it were any bigger the RVs would be in danger. This campground has lots of potential because of the view, but greed got in the way. I personally would rather pay more for the view and have enough room to open my awning. The sites could have been staggered somewhat. The second row back had sites that were twice the size of the front row. Pets were well controlled, and there was a nice area along the lakefront that was grassy and unobstructed. The campground had a small pool, a nice camp store and plenty of roads to bike ride. The area is lovely, and if you go to the island, take your own bikes and enjoy the 8 mile ride around the island, It was the bet part of the week, but I don't think the price of the campground was worth the cramped conditions. I don't think we will return. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

We really liked this campground. We arrived on a Sunday and left the following Saturday. It is full sun. We camped in the sites closest to the beach. We were probably 50' from the walkway over the dunes to the beach. Beach was spotless! Campground had folks patrolling and cleaning not only the grounds but the beach as well. On Friday night it started packing in and got crowded, so I was glad we left on Saturday am. The sites are close, but the amenities are great. The pool was nice and large. There was a large arcade and a go-cart track. They also had a schedule of events including movies, games, sandcastle contests etc. Bath houses were clean and nice. Stores were close by. All in all, we would return. You go to different campgrounds for different reasons, and this one is the beach. If we want shade and space, we visit the State Park forests, but for the ocean, this was about as good as it gets. We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park Resort in a Travel Trailer.
