Orbit RV Park, Grant, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We keep our motorhome here in "storage" when not on the road so a little insight on the Park. The Manager is a full time resident and will do all he can to make your stay comfortable. Small Park that is trying to stay alive with some "long term" and Winter Snowbirds since Summer transient and Rally traffic has really declined. Directly across the road (US1) from the Indian River and since it is PPA not a bad Park to stay for several nights to attend Grant Seafood Festival or relax as you travel North/South. Several years ago would have Rated several points higher. We camped at Orbit RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountaineer Campground, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Small campground with very close full hookup sites. Stayed five nights. Family owned/operated and very friendly. Very family oriented park with pool, park layout is great for children. The only problem we had was lack of water pressure in the morning when they were filling the pool, just poor timing. On quiet side of TN Smokies, only short drive to Cades Cove and nice country drive to Pigeon Forge area. We camped at Mountaineer Campground in a Motorhome.

Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort, Ashburn, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Short ride off I-75 in quiet country setting is this new Park with very friendly staff. Kevin manages both the RV area and the golf course is looking for RV'rs to make suggestions as to how they can improve the Park. How often have you had an RV Park ask for your help to make it more RV'r friendly!! It is Passport park. BIG pull thru sites with 50/30 AMP service, full hookups, charcoal grill and fire pit on each site. Besides the amenities mentioned in other reviews, you can rent a golf cart on an hourly basis to tour the grounds or go to the fishing lake and actually catch fish. Highly recommend this Park and suggest giving Kevin positive feedback on improvements for RV'rs. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Boggy Creek Resort and RV Camp (Formerly East Lake Fish Camp), Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Campground, cabins, pavilions, restaurant, pool, boat rental, airboat rides, fishing, tree shaded sites, and quiet considering near Orlando Airport. Facilities are old but fairly well maintained. Besides Lake Toho bass fishing, the campground has small catch and release pond. Restaurant food is excellent, includes many "local" dishes. Not the campground for everyone, but relaxing and a bit of Old Florida. We camped at Boggy Creek Resort and RV Camp (Formerly East Lake Fish Camp) in a Motorhome.

Orlando S.E./Lake Whippoorwill KOA, Orlando, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We are KOA Members and this is one of the best KOA CG we have stayed in. Employees very friendly and helpful, campground and facilities well maintained. We stayed here for four days with two of our Grandchildren and they were never bored. We will return with other Grandchildren. I would have scored a "10" but I don't believe there are any "perfect" campgrounds. We camped at Orlando S.E./Lake Whippoorwill KOA in a Motorhome.
