This is the lowest rating I have ever given a KOA, but deserving. The sites were small, too close to each other and there were NO trees! The water had something in it that discolored it and clogged up my filter to the point I had to buy another one. The water pressure was almost 0 in the site and in the restrooms. In the two days we were here, the restrooms were never serviced. Same dirt, same trash, same empty toilet paper dispenser! There are only three showers, not enough for a park without sewer hook-ups. There were no sewer hook-ups in the sites, but there is a dump station. We were only a few hundred feet from the office, but the WiFi only worked if you went up to the immediate office area. There was no table at our site and only about half the sites had tables. We stayed here two nights and were not very happy with the accommodations of this park.

This is a nice KOA, but keep your eyes peeled for the signs to turn off the road. They are very small and I missed them, and drove about a mile past the turn off. The staff member was a bit snippy when I mentioned this and told me I just don't pay attention. (I had intended to stay here on my return from Tennessee, but she made me uncomfortable and I went elsewhere.) The park is OK, but some of the sites (like the one we were in) are very close to I-75 and the trucks rumble all night long! (If you are a light sleeper be sure to request sites on the opposite side of the park!) Clean restrooms, showers and store! WiFi worked great! But I won't go back here for reasons explained above.

We stayed here four nights in a row and were put in the "over-nighters" section with no trees and little space, while the big roomy, shady spots set vacant. The bathhouse has one toilet and one shower and people waiting to use it, and the camp was not even busy! When are more going to be added??? The staff is always nice and the Internet works everywhere as far as we know, but it is slow!!

This is awesome! Not exactly "ocean front," it is actually situated on the inlet. The park is clean, the restrooms and showers are clean and well kept. They even have washers and dryers!! There are lots of TV stations available on the antenna, cable is not necessary. Great fishing within a few yards of the campground and it's less than a mile to the pier and the boat launch!! No sewer hook-ups, but there is a dump station. There was no WiFi that we could get on to??? The sites closest to the water are not as big as others in the camp, and I would not recommend them to anyone with rigs over 25 feet!

This one is miles off the Interstate, up in the foothills of the Shenandoah. The staff was not the friendliest I have encountered at other KOAs. The sites are OK, but tough to get into and out of for big rigs. It is a long way to everywhere from this campground.

This is one of the nicest, cleanest, best kept RV parks we have stayed in in a while, and the price was very reasonable!. It is located in the heart of Lancaster, right behind Dutch Wonderland. There are some sites right under the roller coasters and that might suck for some, but they shut down the amusement park about 8:00, so it doesn't go on all night! The restrooms were the cleanest and nicest I have ever seen in any RV park. If I was to go back to Lancaster in an RV, there is no doubt where I would go to stay.

Another one of those "off the beaten path" campgrounds. It is a couple of miles down a narrow, winding road with cars "flying" up and down it. The campground was nice, with lots of shady spots, but they put us in a wide-open, no shade tree spot and there were lots of open spots all around?? Lots to do in the area, but we were only here a day. Would have liked to stay longer, might go back, but only if they give me one of those shady spots!

This was a great KOA, just off of I-95 and really close to Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun Casinos. The stay was good until breakfast time. We cooked and ate outside, but the lawn mowers and weed eaters felt like they had to mow and weed eat during our breakfast??? Couldn't wait 15 minutes, come back later? Very disrespectful.

This is a great park, one of KOA's best, and I have stayed in many! If you are considering this one or Oceanside, be aware, there are no trees at Oceanside and this park has a pool! The staff here were awesome, very helpful with anything you needed. There is a bus that runs through the park taking you to Acadia or to town, perfect for the motorhome traveler! The only problem we had was the breaker kicked out on us several times, and we were under 30 amps! And then there are the mosquitoes!!! Bring lots of repellent!

This is a good place to stay if you are touring Boston, Cape Cod, Plymouth, even points south in Rhode Island. BUT! We were put in the "new" part of the campground, up on the hill with no trees and the spots so close you could hear your neighbor snore at night. I booked this campground almost a year in advance and got a crappy spot. I think I may look elsewhere in the future.

What a trek to take to get here! Very narrow roads and WAY off the beaten path! The trailers are packed in like sardines in a can. I never could get the trailer level and had two sets of leveling blocks. No restrooms by the office or the pool, so you know what THAT means! But I guess you get what you pay for!

A bit off the beaten track. This is a great place if you are visiting the base or spending time in the bay. If you are a light sleeper, beware. The F-18s fly in at all hours of the night.

It is a nice park, with clean restrooms and showers and very pleasant staff. We just stayed one night so can't say a whole lot more about the place. You have to drive in circles to get to it!!!

First of all, this is a nice campground with roomy spots. The trains are not a big deal. Six-flags could be walked to! And it doesn't take half an hour to get downtown...unless you are driving 40! However, I am a bit concerned about the care of the facility. For two days there was no toilet paper in the men's room and we told them both days! I used the same shower for three days and the same "left behind" bar of soap was in there all three days. So I question how "clean" the showers are. This appears to be run by a little old man and lady and perhaps a family, but there does not appear to be quality checks.

We stayed here two years ago and again this year. We would stay here again and again. This is a great location if you are going to spend several days in the Black Hills as it is pretty much in the center of Sundance, Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore, and Badlands MP and one of the best locations if you are going to Sturgis!!! Now the spots are really tight if you have slide outs, etc., but that is part of the camping thing! Get to know your neighbors!!! The hot tub was great, the pool was heated. And they have shuttle that runs you into and out of Deadwood every hour. If you like to gamble it is perfect. And don't fret over the fact that the shuttle quits running at 10:00. Pretty much most of Deadwood shuts down at 10:00!!!
