Niagara Falls KOA, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Had a great time at this nice clean well maintained park. Washrooms were very clean and had music. Showers very clean. Park well maintained. Fair number of trees considering it's an RV park. Would definitely return. We camped at Niagara Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice family run place. Is almost all seasonal, but some short term available. Has it's own VERY small lake (there is no pool). Great place for kids. Very friendly. We had a wonderful time there and will likely return. We camped at Hillside Lake Park in a Tent Trailer.

Sandbanks Provincial Park, Picton, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice in the electric loop, but it's a large park so you have to drive/bike everywhere. Clean and tidy. Washrooms were amazingly clean. Very popular park, so you have to reserve early. Didn't find the beaches that good. Kind of messy with algae and stuff like that. Nice towns close by and a lovely area overall. We camped at Sandbanks Provincial Park in a Tent Trailer.

Sherkston Shores, Sherkston, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

Been here before, will be back... it is a great 4-5 star resort with lots to do. Wonderful area if you somehow manage to be bored. WARNING... if you are tenting/Tent Trailering, be advised that the washrooms are notoriously poorly kept. Most times very dirty and not enough for the amount of people that stay there. If you are there in something that has it's own facilities, then you are probably OK. Other than that it is a first class resort. Quite noisy and party atmosphere. Not to all's taste for that reason. We camped at Sherkston Shores in a Tent Trailer.

Summer Place Park, Grand Valley, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We had a nice spot (22) in front of a creek. Family owned, well kept. Rating a 5 mostly because we had one day that the place smelled of manure from a nearby chicken farm. Very bad smell... kind of ruined the weekend. Situated on Grand River which is a very pretty area. Women's bathroom/shower was very dirty. Mostly seasonal sites, but some over-night. Services (things to do) were not abundant Don't think we will be back. We camped at Summer Place Park in a Tent Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We had a great time. Mostly because the have great kids' programs. All morning there is something to do for our 6 year old. Staff seems caring. Grounds are clean and tidy. Sites close together and very noisy with the hi-way 150 ft away. Washrooms/Showers were clean and roomy. Not much here if you don't have kids other than close to Niagara Falls. We'll be back. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Tent Trailer.
