The above rate is for a 30 amp FHU site. They also offer w/e sites and 50 amp. We are staying here for a month. This is a very different type of KOA. It is basically a fishing camp with some folks living here permanently and others who leave their rigs here and come out on week-ends. Everyone is very friendly from the staff to the permanent residents. Our site is large enough for our rv, boat and truck. Pull through sites. Room for tents and cabins for rent. There is a Flamingo Grill on site and a well stocked convenience store. Also a huge bookstore. The park is a very convenient stop and has a lot of overnight traffic. The lake is just down the road and is busy with boaters and fisherpeople. We will definitely be staying here again. If using the over the air tv antenna only two channels were available. With our booster we received 16 channels.

This is one of our favorite parks. The sites are spacious with lots of room for our truck and trailer. Very pet friendly. The registration envelopes are in front of the washrooms. Very quiet when the fair is not being held. We had good reception for over the air TV and our Verizon internet. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this campground so we could visit battlefields and family. As the other reviewers stated, there are several long term folks here but everyone is so friendly. The owner is more than accommodating. Just ask for help and he will do anything to help you out. The rate we paid is the PA rate. They also offer discounts for Good Sam and Escapees. The sites are mainly treed but even large rigs can fit into them. We have our own WIFI so I didn't check out the campgrounds. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here two nights at the Passport America rate. I do not agree with the ratings from other reviewers. No, this park is not a resort. It does not have many amenities and it is out in the country. But the new owners will make your stay very enjoyable. The sites are dirt but level. Very pet friendly. The park is about 10 miles from the nearest stores in Pueblo. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a Passport America (PA) campground. The rate listed is the PA rate plus a charge for 50 amp. There are several RV's that are there at least for the summer. Thank goodness for our surge protector. The first site we were in, the surge guard just shut down all the power. So he moved us to another site where we were the only unit on the electrical circuit. We had service there but the amps dropped during the night at least once. Sites are not well maintained and there was dog waste everywhere. The manager was really a nice guy, but the park itself needs a lot of work.

This campground is mainly for snowbirds who have permanent sites. They do have a few sites available for overnight campers but the sites are at the entrance to the park. The sites are not level and we could not get our rig as level as we wanted it to be. The sites are grass with a concrete slab but no table. However, this park is on Lake Tohopekaliga and the views are gorgeous. It has a boat ramp, boat rentals and air boat rides for a fee. The overnight sites do not face the lake but they do face a pond which has two alligators to keep you company. Pets are more than welcome but keep them leashed because of the alligators. We would stay here again.

Nice campground. Two fishing ponds. Level gravel sites with grass between sites. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful little park. Sites are concrete pads and level. Lots of grass and the park is surrounded by trees. Pet friendly with breed restrictions. Friendly staff. Would definitely camp here again.

The park looks nice but has many problems. No cell, internet, or TV service. Surge protector shut down the power to our RV at least twice because of low amperage. Could not finish dumping gray tank because the septic overflowed. Lot we were in was down an embankment making it difficult to unhook and hitch up. Lake is beautiful but we would not stay here again.

We stayed at this campground twice. The second time was for a month because we enjoyed it so much. Nice large park, well maintained, lots of room to walk the dogs. We had no problems of any kind while at this campground and will definitely stay there again.
