Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Awsome spot. Great alternative to the Pismo and Grover beach area. Only four miles from Pismo. This site sits in an incredible spot. It sits right at the end of some huge and great sand dunes that separate the park form the beach. Long but amazing walk to the beach. Very friendly staff. Very clean. This are has one of the most beautiful scenery. Highly recomend it. We camped at Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dockweiler RV Park, Playa del Rey, California

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This site is a great alternative around los angeles. It is a simple and plain park but is right on the beach. They just renovated the whole thing and they are still not very organized but you can't beat the price. It sits right on a great bike and jogging path. Small laundry room though if you need one. Very small doggy walk. Overall it is much better than the malibu rv park. Very close to the highway to los angeles. We camped at Dockweiler RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ventura Beach RV Resort, Ventura, California

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $57.00

I didn't like this place. Way overpriced for being in this town and between two very noisy highways. You pay extra for your dog but there are no services for them. They allow tents and all kinds of shelters all around the site. It felt like I was in a refugee camp. We camped at Ventura Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Malibu Beach RV Park, Malibu, California

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

I did not like this campground. Very expensive for the horrible sites. The lots are so inclined and small that your jacks cannot level the rig and the nose of the rv sticks out on the road. Do yourelf a favor and go to the dockweiler renovated rv park in playa del rey. Maliibu has no beach but dockwieler sits right on the beach and is half the price. I felt robbed at the malibu park. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.
