Haas Lake Park RV Campground, New Hudson, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This was a refreshing surprise. When I first got there I was not sure if I would like it mainly because I am used to state park trails. However, there was plenty of walking to do. If you walk throughout the entire campground in each loop, it takes about 2 hours. Most people are there permanantly. "Z" is the nicest area, but we did enjoy the quiet relaxing spot in "S" right on the water. It was very peacefull, quiet, and pretty. People were very friendly. You can fish, have fires, swim, etc. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Port Crescent State Park, Port Austin, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is my favorite campground. It is absolutely beautiful, with excellent lake front views, wonderful trails, friendly people, darling town, and lots too do. We stayed right in front of the beach and plan to return every year for a week. I would not recommend to stay right by the playground if you do not have children because when we were there the parents did not watch their children. We got bombarded with baseballs all of the time. We camped at Port Crescent State Park in a Travel Trailer.
