Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

The place is nice, albeit it is only an open field with utilities, but it is also a special event venue. So at 9:30 at night, the wedding, or whatever celebration that is going on about 150 yards from our motorhome, is so loud. The bass is making it impossible to sleep. And the screaming from the attendees is so over the top. Won't stay here again. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Red Coconut RV Resort, Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

What a dump. Pack them in like sardines and take their money. 10 foot roads, super tight. Had to get people to move their carts and trucks just to squeeze through. 5 tries to back into a very tight space. I know how to back a motor home and have camera and big mirrors, but this is ridiculous. Lots of permanent sites that are run down. Will NEVER stay here again. We camped at Red Coconut RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice beach, I guess that is why they can get away with such a high price for a garbage site.

Apache Palms RV Park, Tempe, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

I am sorry tired of this park. Have stayed here for convenience only because of ASU student and proximity. The manager can't stop smoking around everyone. The "free" WiFi sucks. Only 7 spots away from the office and can't get hooked in. The owner throws a fit when poor WiFi is brought up and it is our fault it isn't working. The place suits our needs, but the service stinks. This is a parking lot park. Place to sleep. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tahoe Valley RV Resort, South Lake Tahoe, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

After reading some negative comments about this campground, we rolled the dice and elected to stay here and not pay the $70+ for the Zephyr campground. We had asked for a "big rig" site for our 36' MH/tow car. We got exactly what we wanted. It was shady, easy to access and quite clean and comfortable. The entire campground has a sandy base, so there was some dust, but it is a campground afterall. The roads were paved and there were some roots heaving the asphalt, but nothing that caused us any concern. We had a great experience and the the check in went smooth. We checked in very late, so the office was closed, but our site was identified and we knew where to go based on the door posting. No problems. The campground is off the beaten path, so it was very quiet and everyone honored the 10pm quiet time. We will stay here again. We camped at Tahoe Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Redding , Redding, California

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

What a great RV park. We stayed here 3 nights in very hot weather. The grounds are very clean and the shower/restrooms were immaculate. The swimming pool was clean, and they offered a continental breakfast. Our stay was a good experience. Very convenient off of I-5 in both directions. We will stay here again if in the Redding area. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Redding in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

What a great RV park if you want a rive setting. We sat right on the Rogue and walked to the fishing docks in a minute. The staff was very helpful, even when we checked in at 10 PM. The location is a bit off the beaten path and it took a while to get to the park, but it was worth it. The restrooms/showers were clean and plenty of hot water. We would stay here again. We camped at Four Seasons RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Giant Redwoods RV & Camp, Myers Flat, California

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The campground proximity to the Redwoods was the only thing good about this park. The restrooms/shower areas were so dirty and disgusting that we ended up using our motorhome for those purposes. Everything was brown and dry and very dusty. We didn't let our kids out of our sight because of the type of people walking around. Wouldn't stay there again. We will look elsewhere and travel further to find something better. We camped at Giant Redwoods RV & Camp in a Motorhome.
