Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina, Abingdon, Maryland

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Another example of profiting off a campground because you are fortunate enough to have waterfront. These people don't do anything to keep up this campground. The pet walk is a joke, a little mud hole that looks like a junkyard. We paid for four nights and stayed for three. We camped at Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was nice and had large sites. If they had Wifi I would give them a 10. We camped at Merry Meadows Recreation Farm (formerly Morris Meadows) in a Travel Trailer.

Canyon Country Campground, Wellsboro, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the Canyon Country Campground, Wellsboro, Pa on 7/21 and 7/22. The owners were very rude and belligerent. There wasn't anything to write home about. The sites were very unlevel. No stone or gravel. Very small sites and hard to access. They are AAA approved but the only "discount" was the rate guarantee. They charged us $2.00 for being a half hour early. You pay for two adults and additional for a child. Nothing in the store. Sad. The store and office doesn't look anything like what it shows on the website. We camped at Canyon Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.
