Saugerties / Woodstock KOA, Saugerties, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a weekend get away with my wife and kids. It is a very nice, quiet campground. We got there after dark and the owner was very nice, escorted us to our site and helped us get settled. The kids had a good time, especially on the banana peel bikes. Bathrooms were clean. We would definitely go back. We camped at Saugerties / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Niagara Falls North / Lewiston KOA, Lewiston, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was very basic. There is a small pool but otherwise not a lot to do at the campground. The time we spent there we had a lot of problems with the mosquitoes. The staff was friendly and the store was well stocked. The bathrooms and showers were clean. It's near the Falls but make plans outside of the camp for entertainment. We camped at Niagara Falls North / Lewiston KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We are new to trailer camping, this is our first camper. This campground was very nice. We stayed at the deluxe site right on the river. The view was awesome, the kids loved it. We went tubing and visited the diamond mine and had a wonderful time. The bathrooms were clean and the store was well stocked. We will go back. We camped at Herkimer Diamond KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

I wanted to take my wife and two girls to Hershey and also wanted to take them camping for their first time. I chose a KOA campgroung because they have been around so long. We had a great time. The staff greeted us at the entrance and after registering escorted us to our site. We camped in a tent and our site was plenty spacious. The only complaint I have is the sites were on an incline. The restrooms were cleaner than any I have seen at a campground. Hot water, good water pressure. The kids loved the pool and the catch and release fishing pond. The store was very well stocked and prices were very reasonable. Just a very good experience, will definitely go back. (Of course now we are looking for a camper.) We camped at Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA in a Tent.
