Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located right on the water, next to marina. Lots are gravel. It has cable TV, but it did not work in my site, had to run longer cable to adjoining site and use a splitter. The park is supposed to be updated soon. It does have AT&T cell service. You have to go near the office to use the wifi, and it is a little spotty. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Harbor RV Park, Fort Bragg, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park. Very friendly office staff. I was told they had just taken the park back, and it appears the previous owner had no interest in improving the park. Power went off for a few minutes every morning. Owners are planning to upgrade power. This is in a GREAT location, overlooking the ocean and the river mouth. Some of the site have full hookups and some only power and water. NO dump station! They plan to put one in soon. Wifi hooked easily, but was very slow. Good cell service, right in town. I think the new owners are really going to try and fix this park up. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kla-Mo-Ya Casino, Chiloquin, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is a casino parking lot. They allow RV's to spend the night. There were about 6 other RV's that spent the night, along with a few cars that people spent the night. The casino staff is great, very friendly, and give you free play if you sign up for a players card while spending the night. The cost is free, but had to enter a value to submit review. If you are traveling through Highway 97 and just need a safe place to park for the night, this is a great place. We camped at Kla-Mo-Ya Casino in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Kept very clean, friendly staff. Took awhile to check in, everyone arrived at once, and they have to lead you to your site.
Stayed here several times, and will again! We camped at Big Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Creekside Mountain RV Park, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great newer park right on the south end of town. Walk to down town. Great little stream runs through park. Very helpful and friendly staff.
I spent four nights here and loved it. Right next to a walking and biking trail that you can walk or bike for miles. We camped at Creekside Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great, quite park off the highway. Spent one night passing through on our way to Mt. Rushmore. No restrooms or showers where available, but used my motorhome. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Had wi-fi and AT&T cell coverage. Would stay here again. We camped at Rendezvous At South Fork in a Motorhome.

Johnson's Campground and RV Park, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The park has a great view in some of the sites.  Wi-Fi could only be accessed in the office area.  On a hillside.  Some sites had a great view of the valley.  Staff was friendly and accommodating.  Fee was with Good Sam discount.  Site was full hookup, however, the location of the sewer was so far from water and power, that I had to disconnect to dump holding tank at site. We camped at Johnson's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Waterton Springs Campground (Private), Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The nightly fee was $30 plus $5 for wi-fi. The Wi-fi was very slow and did not work sometimes. I don't think it was worth the additional $5. There is a gravel road, down in a small valley. We still had good view of mountains around the Waterton Park area. It is a ten minute drive into Waterton Park and town site. There is Buffalo viewing within one mile. There are few trees in park. It can be very windy. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Motorhome.

Dump station, no sewer at site. Nice and quiet location. Good Sam rate. We camped at Buffalo Plains RV Park & Campground (CLOSED) in a Motorhome.
