This was a very nice campground. All sites were well shaded and large. Even the back in sites were set up to make it very easy to accommodate larger vehicles. Bathrooms were very clean but did not like the common dressing area that joined two showers. Bathhouses were very clean but not air conditioned. My son caught lots of fish in the pond but I think a $5 per day fee for campers is a bit much. The swimming area could have been nicer. We will definitely return.

This campground is OK for a night's stopover but we would not stay there again. It is clean but management was very unfriendly. The sites were lined up next to each other and putting out the awning of our camper would have intruded into our neighbor's site. Although this was reviewed as family friendly the manager very obviously had a problem with children. The pool closes at 7:30 pm because she stated she did not know if she would be back around at dusk to close it so she does it when she closes the office. Without ever addressing my husband or I (who were sitting right there) she yelled at my kids in the pool about touching the center rope and then screamed "It's 7:30!" Simply stating that it was time for the pool to close in a normal tone of voice would have been sufficient.

The campground was very clean with level, gravel sites outlined with timber rails. I was impressed that the sites each had a clothes line, lit electrical box, water, and sewer. We stayed in site 10 which had plenty of room for our family of 6. The beaches in the swimming area have been covered with clean, white sand and you can see the bottom in the location our kids were swimming at. The only drawback was that the boardwalk from the campsites to the swimming area is being added / renovated so we drove around to the swimming area instead of trudging through the mud.
