Topsail Hill State Preserve, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is great. Paved sites with sewer hookups, has a nice swimming pool, which we used everyday, camping the first week in September 2012. Grounds were very clean and well groomed. Bathrooms kept very clean. Was on lot 10 and we had a bit of water after a big rain. We are going back next year. We camped at Topsail Hill State Preserve in a Travel Trailer.

It is a great park. We enjoyed everything about it. It is only 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Charleston. We camped at James Island County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hunting Island State Park, Beaufort, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is pretty. Had a nice time. Park is outdated, trees are way to closed to the road for larger RV's and the bathrooms need remodeled. Saw several trailers having a hard time getting into and out of the camping spots. I would go back only if I got a site on the ocean. Saw several deer around the campground. Biggest complaint is the bath houses. We camped at Hunting Island State Park in a Travel Trailer.
