Gold Country Campground Resort, Pine Grove, California

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice family campground and RV park. We were there on the Friday before the 4th of July and had the area we were in to ourselves. The Pool was nice but not heated. My children loved the water park it was the best I have seen and very clean. The mini golf needs some work but my kids had a great time with it. The playground is new. Very quiet. The bathrooms were completely redone. My kids are already talking about going back. We camped at Gold Country Campground Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Big Sur Campground & Cabins, Big Sur, California

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very popular place just about every possible site was taken. The cabins were full as well. The bridge construction was a bit noisy. The location was wonderful. The sites were really close together you really got to know your neighbor. The staff was very nice. My kids enjoyed the playground as well as the basketball court. Probably won't go back since it was a bit tight for us but for the location and all the great beaches it was worth our one trip. The bathrooms were constantly being cleaned. We camped at Big Sur Campground & Cabins in a Tent.
