Meaher State Park, Spanish Fort, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV Park. Not far from either Mobile, Daphne, or Spanish Fort, Alabama. Right down the road from the USS Alabama, and all the fresh seafood that you would care to eat.

There is one drawback at this park. I had read the comments concerning them, however I did not take heed. The dreaded ANTS. Do not fail to bring ant KILLER!!!

Other than those critters, the park was nice, clean, and quiet. We camped at Meaher State Park in a Motorhome.

Dad's Bluegrass Music RV Park, Franklin, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I stopped here on our way to, and from Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. I can't say enough about the friendliness and welcoming spirit that this campground's showed. This facility used to be called Bluegass RV Park...these are the new owners, and the Park is a work in progress. It is situated right off of I-65. When travelling south, I will use this RV Park as a rest way station again. We camped at Dad's Bluegrass Music RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice fishing. Park is right on the Mississippi. Plenty of free driftwood that can be used for riverside campfires. This park was kept in a very high state of cleanliness, with RV site garbage pick up. Watching the many barges through out the day, and night, was very nice. We stayed 2 days. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Quaint RV Park not far off of the Highway. We stopped here on the way to Memphis. We only stayed one night. Park could have used a little more attention to detail, T.L.C. Not bad for an overnight stay. We camped at Dad's Bluegrass Music RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camp Lord Willing Management RV Park & Campground, Monroe, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This RV Park was really quite nice. The scenery was quite spectacular. The Park Associates were very helpful. We did not have the proper sewer hook up. The Camp provided what we needed. I was taking my trash to the dumpster and an associate met me en route and volunteered to take my trash to the dumpster for me. My only complaint, if I can call it that, was the extremely long run for the PVC Sewer Line connection. In order to drain the sewer line completely I had to physically elevate it 2-3ft, in order for it to drain properly. Needless to say...it was kind of messy. There are train tracks that run close by that can be kind of noisy. All and all my wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this park and will stay again We camped at Camp Lord Willing Management RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Algonac State Park, Marine City, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, friendly and green atmosphere however, we parked on the row closest to the river. The traffic noise, and busy traffic that you have to navigate through, in order to get to the river, was a definite negative. Next time, we will stay at the Wagon Wheel portion of this park. That area is secluded, and most of all...quiet! We camped at Algonac State Park in a Motorhome.
