A hidden gem in the woods! We attended the first annual Chili Cookoff over the weekend. We had a wonderful time. Our site was clean and level. Had a fire pit, picnic table and grill. The campground is very wooded. It has a large lake with a roped off sandy beach area for summer swimming and a pier/dock for fishing. This is our 'new' favorite campground. We will visiting it a lot in the coming years. Has a wonderful host/owner and wants to make sure you are comfortable in her family owned campground.

We really enjoyed this campground. We were there for Labor Day. Had a beautiful site. River was nice but New Bern had had a big fish kill so fishing was out of the question. The Wi-Fi was iffy at times. We will be back.

We had a wonderful site down by the Lake, we camped for 5 nights. Went fishing (no luck!) and swimming. The Pool is very clean and Olympic size. They also have a great playground and jump pillow for the kids along with miniature golf. The staff was great, very helpful. They are improving this campground everyday to KOA Standards. Getting rid of the 'older model' monthly's and only allowing 'new models' to become monthly's. We will stay there again if we are in the area. I am only rating it a 9 because of being charged extra for electric and having no cable.

I love this campground! Our site was great. There are allot of permanent sites but they are newer models. The staff is great and very helpful. If you don't want to cook they have a grill with great food. I didn't want to come home. We will be back and had a great time.

I really don't know where to start. We were suppose to stay for 3 nights but after the 1st night we left. We were around a lot of Permanent Seedy Trailers, not to mention the people. Our site was so un-level and going down hill that if you were not careful you would fall down the hill. It took us over an hour to level our Travel Trailer. Lots were very narrow. Had to find quite a bit of rocks to even level the picnic table legs. The gravel road into the campground was horrible. A lot of potholes. My over all impression of the Campground was it is where you bring trailers to die. By the way, I won't go back.

We really enjoyed this campground. It was very clean and the staff was great. Our site was at the end of the row and we had a lot of room. The pool was very clean. We will be going back. Sunset Lake and Wrightsville Beach just up the road. Very easy to get to.
