Campground is neatly kept with new, clean shower and laundry house (which gave it a higher rate). This is a place to park and sleep only. Very small sites without picnic tables, grills, or fire ring. Just off highway 6 with some road noise, but not too bad. Friendly owners. Some apparent full timers in the park, but none that weren't taken care of by the resident. Perfect for a short visit to the university and convenient for that purpose or other visits to College Station area.

Campground is out short distance from town with beautiful trees and unique landscaped areas. We liked the quiet and woodsy feel of the site (#57). The pool was clean, good size, and had chairs for resting towels. Small game room open to 9 p.m. Owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They take pride in their grounds and facilities. The bathrooms with showers and laundry room - Wow! Cleanest I have ever seen, roomy, and temperature controlled. No wi-fi or TV at campsite, but we needed a break from both.

Very nice campground with very friendly staff, hosts, and clean facilities. Owners hosted a July 4th bar-b-que for all campers and presented fireworks show that was ended with rain. I rated this an 8 based on size of area between sites, approximately 20 to 25 feet, but all very neatly kept with many trees providing shade for trailer and picnic table. Be sure to step out after sunset for a wonderful sight - the fireflies are many and quite enjoyable. Beautiful countryside area and close to stores and restaurants in Carthage, MO.
