I was quite sad with the condition of this park. It is in a great location, but would be a better park with 1/2 the spaces and some greenbelt areas. Everything is just 30 year old asphalt and the average rigs have grown over the years making this feel rather claustrophobic. Spend the extra money and actually stay in an RV park, not a ghetto.

Nice modern park, with a great location, but it could be much better. Dismal cable TV reception and choices. WiFi weak in some areas of park. Lawn is not maintained very well during the hot dry summers. Rest Rooms and showers close early considering the amount of daylight in this northern area in summer. The enclosed dog run shown on the map does not exist. Spots close to highway have road noise, but not too bad. If you get a riverside site, the fisherman's boats start going by at 3:30 AM and the recreational boats (load) until after 10:00 PM. I have stayed in a dozen different spaces over the years and prefer about in the middle.

Unfortunately, it had been a number of years between my stays. It used to have Cable TV, not anymore, had many lakeside spots with sewer, not anymore. Also, too many bug infested sick looking deer now.

We arrived after a day in Yellowstone National Park. We did not have a reservation, but were able to get a spot. We had a deluxe spot with nice grass, table and fire ring. We were escorted to our site. The Internet works fine and there is good AT&T cell service. The cable tv has only 12 channels. Looks like recent improvements have been made. Fresh gravel on the parking pad.

We camped here for almost a week while we visited relatives. This was a great park. Very nice grounds good for satellite reception as well as over the air. Very nice for an urban state park.

Check in was a good experience. We were lead to our pull through site. There is a nice space with a concrete pad for the table. A very good cable system has many digital HD channels and many regular ones also. It is a good overnight location, but there are a couple of items to note. Since it was a very warm evening we had dinner on the outside table, the flies were awful, then the wind came up and blew the flies away, but almost did the same to us. All the grass is dead between the spaces, they must not water. I feel if a park is going to charge these prices it should be pristine as far as the grounds.

This park is one of our family's favorites. The owners are great and have put much effort into the park over the last few years. Lush green grass between the spaces and as the tree mature it will be fantastic. Nice views of the surrounding hills and forest. I would give an 10 if it had TV reception, no cable so need satellite and owners will give you a space that has good satellite reception.

Good location for visiting Craters of the Moon. Stay was pleasant. No cable but a few over the air channels. Good locations for satellite reception. Well kept grass at site.

The staff was friendly, but that is the only good I can say about this park. If you are lucky enough to get one of the pull throughs you most likely have a nice spot, but we were put in a back in side by side. This is by far what the majority of the spaces are. It was full of mud and weeds with an old shabby picnic table among the permanent residents. This park has great potential because of it's location, but the back in spots fall way short of many peoples standards. Also, no TV unless you have satellite.

Good park for a one night stay. Good cable system, but many of the sites were very close together. Ours was a side by side but they left one side open so it gave us some more space. The office help was excellent.

Very crowded and noisy. Pool was old as well as the park. Many bugs, bring your spray. Won't stay here again. Satellite reception very tough.

Because of location, this park could be so much more. I feel the grounds are very poorly kept. The grassy spots are under watered and stressed as well as many of the trees. Need to better address the weeds in the parking pads. The cable TV is somewhat of a joke, but as of this time you can still receive local network channels via analog signal from a nearby mountain. I suggest you bring your own satellite dish. I do enjoy staying here because of the location, but wish the staff would pay more attention to the grounds.

We stayed in the crooked river campground and it was great! What a find. It is a ways off of the beaten path, but it is wonderful. No phone or TV other than satellite, but a very well kept park with wooded and grassy sites. All have full hookups and paved roads and pads. Nice showers and laundry room. I hope to return.

We had a nice shady site. The kids enjoyed the pool and the area was well kept. I did not like paying $1 a night for cable, but there were many analog and digital channels available. Also, would have preferred a few less long termers in the park. The guy next to us looked like he was under house arrest as he had a transmitter around his ankle. We stayed three nights and would stay here again.

Kids enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the grassy shaded sites. Just spent one evening, but would stay again.
