Sinclair Lewis Campground, Sauk Centre, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The only good thing about this place is there is a good view of the lake. The sites are grass and they are not level. You have to pull straight in which is awkward because the electric is at the road and our hookup is at the back of trailer. Not easy to get a truck in site because of limited space. Very tight. No sewer hookup and ask you to pay $3.00 to dump, yeah, right! I don't think so after the nightly fee. It is honor system. Wash house nasty and old. There was a man and his dog camping outside it. They said, "oh don't worry about him he stays for 2 wks. every year. I'm not going in and that's that. Very strange situation. Don't trust him. We camped at Sinclair Lewis Campground in a Motorhome.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park, Prior Lake, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $30.00

A great place. Have stayed here 3 times. It's very nice, very clean with friendly people. Took the shuttle to casino and walked once. A great casino with great food. My husband even won playing the slots. We were here the 4th of July and fireworks were very nice. We could watch them from our camper. They have entertainment on a regular basis. We saw Larry The Cable Guy last year and it was a great show. Just get on line at Mystic casino's web site and you can see what the upcoming entertainment is going to be. We really enjoy going to this campground. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spitit Lake Casino & Resort RV Park, Devils Lake, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is in the middle of nowhere. The place they make you park is in the parking lot of casino. The other campground is for long timers. There is no water or sewer. Have to drive to showers. Dirty. No toilet paper in bathrooms. Nice view of lake is really the only good thing. Food a buffet is cheap, but nasty. Nothing like the campground at Mystic Lake Casino. Stay here only in emergency. People at hotel and casino are not friendly. We camped at Spitit Lake Casino & Resort RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
