Pleasant Valley RV Park, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I really liked this park. It just had a good feeling. Others said the sites were close, but I didn't think they were any closer than most of the parks. Laundry prices were reasonable, showers nice, lots of area to walk the dog. Management was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for sure. We camped at Pleasant Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely modern park. Very well kept, the restrooms are immaculate. Laundy was nice too, but very expensive. We did not like the showers. You cannot control the water temperature and it is borderline scalding. Also, the Wi-Fi was off again on again. We would recommend, but probably won't return. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a delightful park. Large shady "private" sites, very friendly staff, dog friendly, even a dog wash set up! We loved it here; had a very nice stay. I wasn't aware when I booked that it is about 10 miles north of Crescent City, so it was a bit of a run in to get groceries. We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Harbor RV Park, Fort Bragg, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

When you pull in your first thought is, oh no, a lot of old trailers are here permanently. The actual RV Park is just an open field with hook ups. No maintenance is done, like mowing. The office is rarely open, the manager writes notes on the door when he will be back. There is not a view of the ocean. It is close and there is a nice walk to it but it has nothing to do with the park. Cable was good, internet was not bad. Will not stay here again. We camped at Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Frogtown RV Park, Angels Camp, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This was a over nighter spot for us. We were pleasantly surprised. It is at the fairgrounds, but was great for the price. Internet was a separate company which we had to pay for. We actually had the guy come out and get us connected, but it was so nice to get back online we didn't care. We camped at Frogtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Brown's Town Campground, Bishop, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Lots of big shade trees. Nice grassy areas with picnic tables. I was disappointed about the lack of internet or sewer hook ups. The restrooms were clean. Pay showers, 7 minutes for $1. Also had to pay $5 to dump. Excellent cable TV channels, you pay extra for it though. Worth it for us. Would camp here again. We camped at Brown's Town Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wine Country RV Park - Sonoma (Extended Stays Only), Rohnert Park, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We just did not like this place. The sites were real close together and no place to sit outside. In the back there were a bunch of homeless types living out of really old junky trailers. We walked back there and found it to be very unnerving. We paid for three nights: they make you pay in advance with no refunds when we wanted to bug out. We still left after only one night. Would not recommend or stay here again. We camped at Wine Country RV Park - Sonoma (Extended Stays Only) in a Motorhome.

Morro Dunes RV Park, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This place was great. It was at the beach, dogs were allowed, it had nice restrooms and showers and it had nice laundry facilities. We loved it here and will definitely return. Walking distance to town and the harbor area is pure delight. Too bad the only grocery store is so far away, but it was still a great time. We camped at Morro Dunes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Caspar Beach RV Park, Mendocino, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Loved that this place was at the beach. This made it worth a lot, but the actual campground was not well laid out. Our slide out was almost up against the guy next to us. Sites were way too small. Terrible directions to this place, it was really hard to find and cell service was poor. A confirmation email with directions would have been really appreciated. Bathrooms were creepy, dark, old and not enough of them. We would stay here again because of the beach but would like to see about 1/3 of the sites taken out. We camped at Caspar Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Winnemucca / I-80 KOA (formerly I-80 Winnemucca), Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park. We really appreciated the easy in and out. My only complaint would be the permanent residents. There were a lot of junky trailers and unsavory types hanging around here. We weren't 100% comfortable with using the restrooms at night. Not a real problem though. Loved the pond area in front. People were very friendly and helpful. We camped at Winnemucca / I-80 KOA (formerly I-80 Winnemucca) in a Motorhome.

Bryce Zion Campground, Glendale, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this campground a lot. It was close to the road but not so much that the noise kept us up. Loved the horses in the pasture that came right up to the fence. The little boy next door was a bit annoying but that was not the camp's fault. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bryce Zion Campground in a Motorhome.

Bodega Bay RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice place: the people were friendly, sites were well spaced and easy to get in and out of. There were nice areas to walk the dogs. Bad things were the burrs, nasty little devils that got everywhere. Another thing was that the walk to town and the beach was a pain. We didn't tow a vehicle so had to walk. Beach didn't allow dogs, which we didn't know so we walked there for nothing. Walking to town was really difficult as there is no shoulder on Hwy.1! All and all we loved it, and the weather was perfect! We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground, Zephyr Cove, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

A very classy RV Park: we really enjoyed our stay. It was pricey but with Lake Tahoe right across the street, it was worth the price. We met some very friendly and nice people here and so enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have walked the dogs down by the lake but that was our only complaint. We camped at Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mormon Lake Lodge Campground and RV Park, Mormon Lake, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Sites here were close to each other. Our door and awning opened onto our neighbor's and there wasn't room for both awnings. Some really junky permanent trailers here. The water was nasty: smelled like sulfur or sewer. Yuck! People were friendly and accommodating when we wanted to move to a shady site. I thought it was wrong to have to pay $2 for a shower when I paid $35 for the site: should have been included. Enjoyed the baby goats at the petting zoo and appreciated having a general store here. Didn't stop into the bar or restaurant so can't comment on them. We won't stay here again. We camped at Mormon Lake Lodge Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.
