Awesome campground. Nestled in a bowl surrounded by mountains. You don't see the mountains till the leaves start to fall. Its quiet and our type of camping. A nice sized back in lot (we are 40 ft) . A fishing catch and release pond. The fall leaves are beautiful and we have enjoyed the view. We definitely would return. Rt 288 is a good 2 lane road. When you turn onto Burch Rd its one lane and also when you turn onto Jarrard Rd. Uneven road entering the campground. Just go slow. We didn't have a problem.

Stayed in a 40ftRV and Jeep. Site was a good size. Old Florida with oaks, spanish moss and lots of older RV's and trailers. Our site was level with good 50amp W/S. Verizon MiFi 5 bars. We were only here one night. It was quiet. Its not a resort. We would stay again and wouldn't mind staying longer. Close to shopping and restaurants. Roads have a lot of pot holes need to drive very slow.

This is a Mobilehome Park with 8 RV spaces. They are adding more RV sites. The sites are the size used for mobile homes. They have a common room, laundry and swimming pool. Managers are very helpful. Their WiFi is excellent. Verizon MiFi 5 bars and we used our tripod Direct HD dish with no problem. There are lots of pine and oak trees. Paved interior roads. A real old Florida landscape. We stayed in a 40ft RV. Would definitely stay here again.

Good stopping place for overnight. Lots of families and long-term residents. Gravel, grass and dirt. It was quiet. We would stay again.

We have stayed here before. We have family in the area so this suits us just fine. )See my review from Jan 2015.) Road work is completed. Quiet park and nice view of the river. No facilities. Most of the park is filled with long term residents. We stayed in site 11 a pull thru 50 AMP/W/S. We are 40 ft.

Good for an overnight. Needs a lot of cleaning up. Lots of trash on ground. Laundry building and bath house looks terrible, but I didn't go in them. Hookups were good. No cable TV anymore as its all digital now and you have to have a box for it. Price is right so don't expect a luxury park. If you want that, there is a new one off I-10 for $30.00 a night. I would stay here again.

New management has taken over. They are working to update a very old park. We paid for 3 days and got the 4th free. We would stay here again. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing has changed at this park except your nightly rate includes the electric now. You don't have to read the meter and go in the office in the am. Nothing fancy here. A gravel dusty area. Would stay again.

The owner responded to my message and called me right back. He was away from the park for a few days. He instructed me to fill out registration and put with payment in an envelope and deposit in slot. He gave me a choice of about 10 sites. He also told me where to find the campground host if needed. Park was very clean, all new gravel. They are new owners and are working on the park. We would stay again. We had 50amp w/s.

Great for an overnight stay or a few days. We have family in the area. Rustic shopping is right there. Road work in progress right now. River view. No rest room facilities. I would stay again.

We did not camp here. We did visit to see what was available. I did not see this review before we went. The last two reviews were spot on. They do offer 50 amp at some sites now and cable TV. The whole park was run down. Gravel sites most look unlevel. Grass is quite tall and trees need trimmed. The bridge going to the RV sites looks very un-safe. The supports under the bridge are all cracked. I can't believe it hasn't been shut down. They are affiliated with Coast to Coast. Signs all over saying new management but there is so much deferred maintenance we would never stay there.

Rate reflects America the Beautiful Senior Pass. We stayed here in a 40 ft RV. Loved our site (4) on the lake. Restrooms were old and need some new paint but they were clean and it was nice to have a whole little room to yourself. Ants were terrible but with spraying we got them under control (Bayer Advanced). Get your groceries before you get there as no big supermarkets unless you go to Bainbridge or Marianna. We loved it and would stay here again.

We stayed in site 38 with a view of the lagoon. There are no sites with ocean access all are views of the lagoon/ocean. They have a nice boat launch. A lot of the sites have a beautiful view, and boats can be anchored near some sites. They run a shuttle to shell island ($$). Inquire at Camp Store. Access to beach in two areas. Access to the jetty and access to the pier also. Lots of fishing going on. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Camped here in a 40 ft RV. There are no discounts for 50 amp. 30 amp offers a $2.00 discount. Fair amount of space in between sites. Gravel sites are pull-through and level and will accommodate 40 ft plus a tow car, and there is still room. We didn't use the bathrooms/showers. We were parked right across from the Farmers Market handy to buy veggies and baked goods and Flea Market on Saturday. Its open M-Sat. We felt very safe here. Its a really nice part of town. Close to shopping and food. Make reservations, because it fills up fast. We would come again. Its not a destination park, but it's great if you are going to see the local sights.

I called and made reservations for 2 nights. The lady assured me we would fit. We are a 40 ft RV. We got there and found we would not fit. There were to many huge trees with branches hanging down. The space she reserved for us was not long enough and we would have been in the road. The street was very narrow and went down a steep slope. This place would be ok for a small 5th wheel or travel trailer 30'. The next day she told me there was camping about 14 blocks down Horton at the fair grounds.
