Very quiet senior park close to Chiefland and all the stores. Older park under new management and really coming along. Owners are extremely receptive to comments and recommendations. Constant improvements - showers upgraded. Very quiet location and yet close to everything needed. Stayed in when passing through to Orlando - will stop on the way back.

A slightly upgraded fish camp and trailer park. Grass and weeds not cut routinely during this time of year obviously; not many people here so management doesn't care. Repairs are very slow - if at all; leaking water spigot never did get fixed. Walked around park, and there was a major water leak between cabins flowing out of ground. Office is not manned at all. Dog area is over grown and can't be used unless you have a Great Dane. Looks like more help needed in maintaining this park. Some pads were recently pressure washed looked great; others haven't been cleaned in years. A table is provided, also. Need some kind of management and TLC.

We enjoyed this park. Owners and employees are very friendly and helpful. Landscaping is top notch: not overdone but very well maintained. Roads are gravel and after a major rain wash out some. The owner is quick to repair and they do not present any problems. Rest rooms and showers are spotless. Pool very clean; store very well maintained and stocked with items most needed in a crunch. Close enough to Walmart, Target and grocery stores but far enough away to be "country". A great place to stay and visit Maine without paying an arm and leg. We enjoyed the peace and quiet afforded by this campground. Our compliments to the workamper staff and owners on a great job.
