Castaways RV Resort & Campground , Berlin, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

It is obvious that a great deal of work and money have gone into this campground in the past 2 years. The location is great. The campground is well on its way to being a great facility. However, the management is very poor. When we arrived there was someone in our site, and the management reacted very poorly. It took over an hour before they tried multiple numbers to contact the other campers. It was over 2.5 hours from the time that I informed the staff of this issue before we could move onto our site. They did nothing to compensate us for our very frustrating experience. I could, however, understand a single issue if that was actually the case. In the course of the weekend, I learned of many such issues. They are booking campers onto sites where they will not fit. They are taking reservations for sites for the following year, only to put rental cabins on them and not inform the people who have reserved the sites in advance. I have never been more conflicted than I am with this campground. The campground is a 9.5 with management that scores a 1. They are only surviving based on their location and overall availability of sites in the area. We camped at Castaways RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This campground served our needs perfectly. The campground did not have an abundance of activities but everything that it offered was very nice. The site was level with a concrete patio. The location was great for area touring. The staff was polite and helpful. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. There are activities for the kids from dawn to dusk. Laser tag, peddle cars, mini-golf, water slides, and more. The facilities are well maintained. Everyone from the maintenance to the actvities staff is a pleasure to deal with. The sites are level and clean. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville, Quarryville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay in this park. We stayed on a buddy site and had plenty of space for our 38' fiver and our friend's travel trailer. The site has many activities for the children. The staff is attentive. Everything is well maintained. We have already booked another trip to this campground this year! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville in a Fifth Wheel.
