Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This was the nicest park that we stayed in during our southwest U.S. trip. We were only going to stay a night, and ended up staying for an entire week. Nice level concrete pads with grassy areas in between. Very clean and well manicured. Easy interstate access with no noticeable traffic noise. In addition to the regular cable channels, they have their own channel on which they play nightly movies. If we are in the area we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first stop on our cross country trip. The sites are fine gravel and are large and level with grassy areas in between. The owners are friendly and accommodating, allowing us to receive a needed repair part for our RV. There is a Camping World right down the street. If you stay at the south end of the park, you may be bothered by the roosters crowing at all hours. We ended up staying here for a pleasant three weeks and would gladly stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
