Clinton / Knoxville North KOA, Clinton, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This was an overnight stop for us. The pull through site was a narrow but long enough to stay hooked up. Trash can on each site was a nice touch. We didn't use any of the amenities, but this appears to be a good campground as a base camp if you are in the Knoxville area to visit. We would stay again. We camped at Clinton / Knoxville North KOA in a Motorhome.

Wapakoneta KOA, Wapakoneta, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This was an overnight stop on our way home. More than adequate for one night. Pull through sites were a bit narrow but we did not have to unhook. The biggest negative is the sewer connection is at the rear of the site. We could not connect using 20 feet of sewer hose. Had to carefully back up in the morning until we reached. Nice pool which was refreshing after a day on the road. Friendly staff, clean bath house, on site pizza and wings. We would stay again. We camped at Wapakoneta KOA in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice and large campground. Many things to do here. The biggest drawback for me was the site. We were near the end of the 1600 loop. Not much privacy. If we return, I will get a premium site, which has a larger concrete pad and a little more room. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Fancy Gap / Blue Ridge Parkway KOA, Fancy Gap, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We used this as an over night stay while traveling. Pull through site was barely long enough for my 36' MH and toad. I had to unhook since we couldnt get level without backing up further into the site. We didn't use any of the amenities. The on site pizza was tasty but small. We would stay here again while passing through. We camped at Fancy Gap / Blue Ridge Parkway KOA in a Motorhome.

Butler / Mohican KOA, Butler, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground if you want an in the woods experience, it is a rural area. No cable tv or over the air channels. Bathrooms and showers were clean, the pool was nice, not much in the store but there is a Family Dollar store about 10 minutes away. Had good internet service from my Sprint phone. Owner was very friendly. When we arrived, our site had full sun. My wife asked to be moved and the owner put us in a shadier site. We camped at Butler / Mohican KOA in a Motorhome.

Wytheville KOA, Wytheville, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We used this Campground for an overnighter on our way south. Convenient to the interstate, pull through site long enough for 31' motorhome pulling car. Bathrooms were clean, swimming pool looked nice. We would stay here again for an overnighter. We camped at Wytheville KOA in a Motorhome.

Murphy/Peace Valley KOA , Marble, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little campground outside of Murphy. Our pull through site was rather small, close to next site. Bathrooms were dated but clean. Pool was nice. Not much of a camp store but walmart is about a mile away. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Murphy/Peace Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $84.00
Overall Rating:

This place is crowded. Despite the crowds and golf carts, I am giving a good review. It was nice to be so close to the beach. The pool and waterpark are very good. Grocery store, food to order, laundromat, you never have to leave unless you want to. Bathroom and showers were comfy and clean. Pull through site was barely long enough for motorhome, had to unhook car. We will return. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Shelby / Mansfield KOA, Shelby, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

Thos is a nice park. You can tell it is well maintained. Nice pool, jumping pillow, basketball court, tennis court, playground, K9 park. Huge pull through sites for even the biggest rig. The downside would be 2 people included in the site price, $7 a person thereafter. Loved it here and will return. We camped at Shelby / Mansfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

For what is suppose to be a resort type of campground, I can't give more than a 7. The campground was okay, but many of the sites were not level and small. I felt a little cramped here. The bathrooms were dated, but clean. If you have children, they will enjoy the activities and the pool. Short drive to Mammoth Cave. We would camp here again, but I'd want a site that is bigger with some shade. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave in a Motorhome.

Big Bone Lick State Park, Union, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice state park. Ample room on sites. Bath house was dated, but clean. Medium size pool proportionate to the size of the campground. Friendly staff. There were three different camp hosts for different sections of the campground. Cell service from Sprint was poor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We camped here four nights. We would stay here again. We camped at Big Bone Lick State Park in a Motorhome.
