Hemlock Campground & Cottages, Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

My partner and I both loved this park. We travel with 3 Newfoundland dogs and this park was great for walking dogs. The entire park is shaded with trees - more trees than I've ever seen in an RV park. The owners were very friendly and informative. We will certainly camp here again! Note - we used a Garmin Nuvi GPS to guide us, and it couldn't find the correct address. The park is located on Hemlock Dr., our Garmin guided us to Hemlock Cir., which is smack in the middle of a housing subdivision. We camped at Hemlock Campground & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Longs Campground, Lexington, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This park was wonderful. My partner and I travel with 3 Newfoundland dogs. This park has a huge lake and the dogs loved swimming in it. The majority of campers are seasonal. The owners were among the friendliest people we have met. We will probably camp there again when back in the region. We camped at Longs Campground in a Motorhome.

Homestead/Yarwood MHP, Radcliff, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This park has "slum" written all over it. There were numerous trailer homes parked in the RV area - including some that were rusting pretty bad. We washed a load of clothes in our rig and the sewer backed up. We camped at Homestead/Yarwood MHP in a Motorhome.
