Mesa / Apache Junction KOA, Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is certainly a campground, not a resort. That being said, it was fairly neat and clean. Most of the staff was exceptionally friendly, but there were A couple staff members that certainly needed some help in the customer relations department. The pool is clean and warm, and they had a hot tub too! We camped at Mesa / Apache Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great overnight park while traveling. Very friendly Staff. Neat clean facilities! Older section that we stayed in bed all paved roads and sights along with some grassy areas between the sites. The newer section has no grass, but is super clean and fresh. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.

St. Louis RV Park, St. Louis, Missouri

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is Not a campground; it is a city storage lot with RV hookups, on a marginal-at-best gravel highly-sloped city lot. Very rude staff. Pulled in, saw it, got treated rudely by host, promptly left. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Maple River Campgound, Pewamo, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, grassy, peaceful, quiet & well maintained. They even spray nightly for mosquitoes. Lots of seasonals at this park, and all that we talked to were very friendly. Not a lot of frills here, but if you like good old backwoods camping like we do, then this is it! Currently there are no showers, but we see the construction happening to build what appears to be a nice large shower facility. Check-in was fast and easy. The fire pits are all positioned on riverside, with plenty of distance from RV. We will definitely come back soon. We camped at Maple River Campgound in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Resort Campground, Ionia, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly management. The lake is very nice and well maintained, with lots of people swimming in it, and a very cool lighted fountain in the middle for nigh time enjoyment. Close to the highway and easy to get to, but once you're there it feels like you're a long ways away from anywhere. A good wholesome campground. We camped at Lakeside Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Muskegon State Park, Muskegon, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in the "Channel Campground" and loved it. Great paved pads to park on, great fire rings, great location right on the channel between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. Great walking trails. Very clean and "nautical" feel. We camped at Muskegon State Park in a Motorhome.

Duck Creek RV Resort, Muskegon, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

There is brand new everything, nice cement parking spots w/ fire pits. There are very few shady sites. RULES! RULES! RULES! When our 70 year old parents visited for dinner at our site, they had to park way up front and walk back to our site, even though there was plenty of room for them to have parked on our site. Within five minutes of being there, camp official came over and scolded us for not having our well-behaved dog on a leash, even though there were two other dogs across the way rough-housing and running loose. Rules are necessary in any public arena, but WOW!, we don't feel like being puppets when camping. Based on our experience, I rate it a ZERO; based on the physical facilities, I rate it an eight. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Double RR Ranch, Belding, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Rough, bumpy, dirt roads make it tough to keep your clean RV clean. But if you don't care about that, then you might give it a higher rating than I did. We camped at Double RR Ranch in a Motorhome.
