Rate is based on monthly. As many have said, this is an older park. While the park itself isn't anything outstanding, the staff and manager are! These folks work hard to do what they can for you. Go way beyond the call of duty to exceed your expectations. We've looked around the area and there are no parks any better than this. Boerne is a great little town. We will stay here again.

Nice park for the price. Like some folks have said, the site is loose gravel making it hard to walk on. Our site was not too level. Had to shim wheels. The great side to this park is the price (off season). The pool and hot tub were clean and hot. Very nice and open 24 hrs. The restrooms were spotless, modern and large. Handicap shower too. The library/book exchange is large and awesome. WiFi was solid and fast at N/C. No cable but the over the air antenna stations were good. Verizon MiFi worked fine here at 4G. We would stay here again for overnight, but not spend a winter.

Good Sam rate. Nice friendly check-in. Led to site. Grass site not level, but was an easy adjustment with wheel shims. 50 amp didn't work so used the site's pedestal next to me to hook up, as it was over 100*F. Wi-Fi was strong and solid. Exiting was confusing as there was no signage and they have tire spike strips that aren't functional. You actually drive over them to exit! We felt a bit pricey for the age and overall looks of the park. Doubtful we would stay again, but maybe.

Very nice resort park. Great bar and grill on premises. The only thing that kept me from giving a 10 was the site was small-tight gravel and I had to shim tires to level. Didn't use cable as we were only staying overnight and there were a zillion channels on our roof antenna. Well worth the $40. I will stay here again.

Nice older park that's nicely maintained. The folks are always nice and treat us well. Rules are enforced so all can have a good and safe time. WiFi was strong and solid. Cable TV is dated and many channels are fuzzy. Many activities make it a lot of fun in this park. Make sure to get a activities when you check in. The activities director and park hosts are exceptionally nice and helpful. Thanks!

As many have testified this park is clean and well maintained. Restrooms are spotless and very nice. Water pressure was a little low for me (40 psi) but OK. All other utilities were good. Wi-Fi was showing strong signal but it would drop out and comeback fairly quick. Sometimes it would also run slow. Site fee does increase $10 on the weekend. We will return when we're the area.

Nice SKP park. The most impressive thing are the sites. Almost all are 55 X 70 BI or PT. Friendly folks. Utilities were good, but water pressure low at 40psi. $1.95 a gallon propane. Cable TV was out, but was being worked on. Decent and fun activities. WiFi near the Clubhouse was strong, reasonably fast and solid. I was planning to stay overnight....and ended up staying 3 days.

Posted is Good Sam rate. We've stayed at this park about 6 times over last 3 years. I really believe the park is overrated. The sites are not level. Sewer is at the very rear of the sites. Utilities are good. The park Wi-Fi has never worked at our sites on our stays (they do have Wi-Fi in the office). The only reason we stay here is it's the only half decent park in this area. We drove by a nice looking park in Sparks across town and it looks like a nice alternative. Just saying that when reviewing this park don't come here and expect 8 or 9 level performance.

This is Good Sam rate. I had to wait to post this as I would have given it a 3 if I hadn't. Office was closed at 4:45PM and the door said 8-5. Did late arrival check in. Site pads are super narrow asphalt that need to be redone. Site not level front to rear or side to side. WiFi very weak and dropped out. Restrooms were moderately clean but old and stained. Cable TV was lacking channels and mostly informercials. Wayover priced for what you get. Office staff was very nice the next morning. Utilities OK. No T-Mobile cell service. Shoulda stayed at Von's parking lot.

To add what has already has been said, this Elks has now added four 50 amp plugs. So there are now two 30 amp sites and four 50 amp. There is a cable TV connection with splitter on the outside wall of the lodge. Stations are a little fuzzy, but not bad. I also was able to bridge to the lodge's Wi-Fi with the my Pepwave booster antenna. With that set up, Wi-Fi was strong and solid. In a decent neighborhood with no security concerns and a good view parked here on the hill. Lodge offers meals on Tuesday and Friday nights reasonably priced. The site is not bad at all for $15 a night! Shell Service station nearby which is across from Walmart has RV/truck fuel lanes, propane, car/RV coin operated car wash and free RV dump at car wash. I like this town!

This is the only RV park in town and it shows. The park is on a slight angle so sites are carved out to be level and most aren't. The sites are pea gravel with red clay under that. Sites are fairly short. Dusty and dirty in the park. Now for the worst part. The Wi-Fi is pitiful. When we got there in the afternoon and the park was almost empty I could stand next to the main antenna and get connected, but couldn't get it a couple of sites away. The antenna next to our site was dead. I used my Pepwave booster and it would work if no load was on the system. As soon as the park started getting more RVers the system is useless. They know about it, but don't do anything about it. Another words if you need Wi-Fi don't come here. Beautiful area to see on tours. Also this park has a beautiful well maintained indoor heated.

Elk Lodge #849

As everyone has mentioned this is for Elks members and their guest. We stayed 5 days. Utilities are very strong. Have a water pressure regulator as it is 85 psi. Fifty-30-20 amp service. Strong TV on manual antenna. Wi-Fi is very weak at the RV. We used our Wi-Fi booster and got a decent signal. Near or inside the Lodge, Wi-Fi is excellent with a 15 meg download! Dinners are now on Wednesday evening. One of the nicest, most modern lodge we've been to. This is our second trip back. If all sites are full you can boondock near the sites for $5.00

I'm stretching to giving this park a 8 this time. We had to go to 4 sites to find one level enough to stay in. Some sites had big dips in the middle of the site. The staff said repairs were coming in Oct. 2013. Water at site would only dribble out and that was repaired by maintenance. Wi-Fi system is new and the antenna next to our site didn't work causing us to pick up off another tower which made it slow and weak. Staff was nice as usual. We've stayed here about 3 times and we'd probably come back as we have friends very close. Just one of those stays this time! Food was pretty good at the Casino restaurant.

Great lady at check in. Good utilities, but watch water pressure which is 85 PSI. WiFi was OK but not real fast. 60 cable TV stations. Some pull throughs were very long and wide. Quiet and clean. A good bang for the buck. Just a nice, little park to spend the night. We would return.

Date of Stay:

Check in was by a young lady there by herself and didn't have a clue. She said it was her third day. Little office was very dirty. The park's pool and hot tub were out of order. Our site was a PT and was level side to side but not front to rear. Big slope downhill. Electric went off 3 times during the evening in the whole park. WiFi was slow but solid. We were parked right next to the antenna. Use a water pressure regulator as it is at 85 PSI. Went to pool, hot tub, and dry sauna in the Casino hotel and it was great. This is our second visit, came back on friend's recommendation: doubt if we'd come back again.
