Iron Horse RV Resort, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for an overnight. Sites are a little unlevel but it cannot be fixed due to the slope of the park. The term "Resort" is very loosely used by some RV parks. Great restrooms/showers and water pressure. Recommend reservation due to the low number of sites available on any day. Do not expect a site if you stop after 3pm without a reservation. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great overnight. Very little to do/see in Murdo. It is a place to stop on the way east/west. Pleasant staff. Concrete pads and good Wi-Fi. We camped at American RV Park & Kamp in a Motorhome.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $45.00

Agree with the last reviewer with the exception that they do handle 40+ motorhomes. Yes, the roads and spaces are a little tight but if you pay attention it is not that difficult. Nice park We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Big Oak RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Older park with quite a few "permanent" guests. Good park for an overnight. Staff is very friendly if you are not pushy. If you are friendly, they are friendly. Sites are "okay" but not great. We would stop here again. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campgrounds of the South, Gulfport, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Good park for an overnight. The Interstate is close but if your windows are closed it is not noticeable. Roadway is a little narrow but not a problem if you are patient. You get a discount for a second visit. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We would stop here again. We camped at Campgrounds of the South in a Motorhome.

Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground, Live Oak, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Interesting park. I would not wish to stay here during a music weekend. Also, would not want to try to find a site after dark. Site locations are somewhat haphazard though they are level. Restrooms needed cleaning. Good enough for a night stopover. Would stay here again. We camped at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Memphis South Campground & RV Park, Coldwater, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Fully agree with the previous post. Plus, very clean restroom and showers. While winter is just ending the park could use some maintenance. Namely, mow the lawn and fill the pot holes. One item I would suggest also is to move the more permanent residents to the back of the park. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Memphis South Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort), Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Good park for an enroute overnight. This is an older park that needs $$$$ spent for updating. Water and electric works fine. Showers and rest room are well maintained. Some sites are not very level. There are better parks in Nashville for a longer stay. Rate reflects Good Sam. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort) in a Motorhome.

James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Very accessable for big rigs. Many sites are 60-80 ft. Asphalt roads and hard packed sand/gravel sites. There were many 36ft+ motor coaches in the park. Friendly staff ready to help. the grounds are in great shape. Thousands of trees but none low enough to touch our coach. Used the free Christmas light tour shuttle and the $10 shuttle to downtown. We camped at James Island County Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort), Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times on our way through Tennessee. This is an older park that needs some TLC. The sites are mostly level though narrow and the interior roads need lots of work. The restroom and showers are very clean. There are a number of permanent residents but most are in a separate section. The park is showing the lack of good maintenance. Not a destination park and too far from Nashville to compete with Nashville parks. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort) in a Motorhome.
