Best KOA I ever stayed at. Wonderful facility. Friendly helpful staff. Bathrooms/showers cleaner than most people's homes. Shower heads are the large "rain shower" head (blissful). So many amenities-90% pull through sites, cable TV, wireless internet, trailer wash, dog walking service, doggie bath, K-9 corral dog play area, dog agility course, putt putt, pool, camp kitchen, movie nights, activity nights like ice cream social or hot dog roast, wood delivery, camp store, wooded sites plenty of trees. Close to town but yet out in the woods. Cabins available and also sites with patios, table and chairs and gas grill.

Beautiful campground on a serene quiet lake approx 1/2 mile in from Lake Superior and Copper Harbor. 1/4 mile from main street in town, but yet quiet, open &/or wooded sites. Level sites, playground, nice club house with games and activities for the kids. Can rent canoes on site. Showers and bathrooms are very clean and well kept up. Free showers with nice roomy changing area. Very friendly staff. They sell ice, wood and basic provisions and are open until 10pm. Loved the convenience but yet still not camping on top of one another.

The views spectacular. Site #12 had Lake Superior shoreline right at the sight. Loved watching the birds and kayakers go by. Very quiet and serene. Marina on site for launching or keeping your boat. One row of sites for big rigs with sewer hookup. One bathhouse totally shut down and the other in major need of renovation and repairs. Was constantly dirty with clay mud and straw because the main access to the showerhouse was directly through the fairly recently redone leechfield/septic field with no grass overlaying it and only the clay mud and straw. The RV dump is still inoperable. The showers were free and the water was hot. Would be really nice if they would just renovate and take care of the bathhouse and septic area. If you are in an RV, go for the views. You won't have to worry about the bathhouse.
